Critical: ProfessionalismThis was my first time at this salon but not my first time getting my hair done with Katie. I had gone to her a couple of times when she was at a different salon. So I can’t say much about the place itself. However, be prepared when you book with Katie because she will likely forget! I booked my appointment with her A MONTH in advance thinking that was plenty of time for anyone to schedule me in. Nope. I got there and it’s like she was shocked. Somehow she booked “another Sydney” on the exact same date with the exact same time. The sad part is she’s pretty good at what she does, so if you’re okay with re-booking go for it. This was my first time at this salon but not my first time getting my hair done with Katie. I had gone to her a couple of times when she was at a different salon. So I can’t say much about the place itself. However, be prepared when you book with Katie because she will likely forget! I booked my appointment with her A MONTH in advance thinking that was plenty of time for anyone to schedule me in. Nope. I got there and it’s like she was shocked. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityIt wasn’t a completely awful experience. I was recommended to see Katy Katie by a lot of people so this is just one person’s opinion.I felt like the salon was cluttered and not very organized. Katy was not unfriendly but wasn’t exactly professional. She also asked if I wanted my hair washed??? I haven’t been to a salon in 20 years that has asked me that. I was getting a cut so I assume a wash is necessary so to cut it properly. She trimmed everything up decently but my bangs were a little choppy.
