I never leave reviews, but this experience was so awful that I wanted to warn others. I had my hair and makeup done for engagement pictures by Tikki. It was horrible, I requested a half up-do and neutral, light makeup. She did not blend the foundation for my face, I looked orange. She had ONE foundation that she uses for everyone. Left looking like a clown. DO NOT BOOK HERE. Save yourself the $200, go elsewhere.

I got my hair and make up done for my wedding on 2/7/19 and it was terrible! I made the appt. about 6 weeks in advance, called to confirm my appt. and then when I arrived they claimed they had no appt. for me! Then when they said they could squeeze me in the stylist wasn’t able to do ANY of the styles I asked for. Since we were traveling from NJ, my normal stylist did a few styles on my hair about 2 weeks before the wedding so I took pictures of all of them hoping the stylist could do one, she said my hair was too short for all of the styles, even though it was MY HAIR in all the photos! She ended up putting my hair in pigtail braids. FOR. MY. WEDDING! And the makeup looked like clown makeup when she was done! I had to wipe a few layers off to look presentable! I also went back to the hotel room, took the braids out and curled it myself. I should have done it myself in the first place and saved myself $150! Do not book your appt here if you want to have nice wedding pictures!

I called this spa to book a surprise spa treatment for my Mom during her visit in Maui, and the service I received over the phone was shocking. I asked for a $250 gift certificate, and the woman didn’t want to issue it to me unless I told her when my Mom was checking in (which I didn’t know). She finally agreed to issue it for me, so I gave her all my info, and then asked if I could have a confirmation number or a receipt of the credit card transaction, and she started yelling at me saying “I just run this salon and answer phones, I don’t have email and I can’t send you anything!” I asked her if she could have the hotel’s front desk email me a copy, and she continued to yell and told me that she doesn’t just sit in front of a computer like me all day. I told her I wasn’t comfortable giving her my credit card information for a $250 charge and to receive no confirmation, and she said I should just go book somewhere else and then hung up on me. If this is how they treat you on the phone, I’d hate to see how they treat you when you get there. Save your time and go to one of the beautiful spas nearby at the Westin or Sheraton, where they run professional businesses and treat their customers with respect.
