She listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job on my pixie cut. I was very impressed by the whole experience here….online booking is a breeze and the vibe of the salon is fun and welcoming.

I’ve been seeing Susan for over 15 years. She is the only person I allow to touch my hair. She is a pro at everything; from color, highlights, long or short styles, she can do it all. I know, because she’s done it all on me! She is fun and professional and the new space in Murray Hill is incredible! Bonus that she is a trained barber, so she really understands how to cut hair of all types!

I’ve been to a lot a salons and hairstylists (often uncomfortable experiences) and this place is by far my favorite! I’ve had a cut/style from Lea and color/cut from Sylvie, both services were amazing! These stylists are truly passionate and kind and it very much shows in the way they work. The atmosphere is welcoming and the team is so encouraging. Will be recommending this place as often as I can.

Firstly, it’s beautiful and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The stylists are very friendly. I have been looking for a stylist for 3 years out here, it’s been a nightmare. Sylvie made it easy to book my appointment and I felt so comfortable once I was there. She really listened to what I was looking for and collaborated with me on how to realistically make that happen. Corrie at Beauty Junkie just did another fabulous color and cut for me and a precision cut for my other half. I’ve been a client for over a dozen years, brought him one time, and now she has two more people who won’t let anyone else touch their hair. It took me over a year of trying other stylists when I first got here before I landed in her chair and emerged feeling great about my new, modern look. If I ask her to color or cut, she gets it and does it exactly. But more often than not, I just sit back and let her do her magic. I’ve watched other Beauty Junkie stylists with their clients too. Everyone goes away smiling because the salon is staffed with talented professionals. If Corrie ever decided to hang up her scissors, Lee would be the first person I would ask for an appointment as he’s got a sweet, easy-going nature and always aims to please. This place has that relaxed atmosphere that all salons should. That’s why we go. You not only look your best when you head out that door. You feel your best too. We’re definitely addicted to Beauty Junkie!
