I have gone to the salon for over a year with my stylist Sarah. She’s been great to work with, but books up quickly, in my last appointment booking I requested to be placed on the waiting list. While on a 12 day vacation out of the country I was left a message by Maria at the salon sharing that an earlier appointment had become available. I did not respond as I did not have access until I returned home. I received a call today from the owner of the salon. He wanted to know if I would be there for my appointment today. I shared with him that I never confirmed an alternative time or day and that I wanted my original appointment date to be honored. He then shared with me my original appointment was no longer available and then became extremely argumentative, stating that me being out of town was my problem, and that it was my fault that I chose to opt out of their text messaging. I have never been treated this rude by any business that I have ever patronized. Although I love Sarah I will never return to the salon for the mistreatment that I received by the owner. Beware of this salon, they don’t know what customer service is supposed to look like.

Beauty Is is taking all of the Covid precautions seriously and I felt safe both visits this past week. Maria did an amazing job with my haircut and provided education during my cut that I found extremely helpful. Alyssa cut my son’s hair and honestly, the best haircut he’s ever had! The owners are always warm and welcoming and it’s a small town feel when you walk through the doors, which isn’t always the case when you walk into an upscale salon. We are going to be regulars and so happy to have Beauty Is so close to home. Maria did an amazing job with my haircut and provided education during my cut that I found extremely helpful. Alyssa cut my son’s hair and honestly, the best haircut he’s ever had!
