Hi, my name is Venard and welcome to Beauty by Venard. Located at 3152 Washington Street Jamaica Plain MA02130 right in the corner between Pikalox & Bravo Pharmacy. I’ve been doing hair for over 15+ years. I have exerience working with all hair types. Our services include but not limited to hair cut/coloring, relaxers, braiding, lock retwist and hair weave/extensions. The worst salon in the area, bad language, bad customer service, cheating with prices, so ask before even if you checked the prices online!!! Told her that wax is a little hot on my skin she said this is not the first time I do eyebrows!!! And the result wasn’t satisfactory. And she had very long nails which kept stabbing my skin while she was working.

Venard is such a sweet lady, and she’s super cordial with everyone she encounters. I went to get extensions for my first Salon experience, and my hair isn’t the easiest to handle for most, not even me. She did splendid work and I left that day happy and satisfied. Definitely a must visit!

I have dark hair color and decided to get a patch of white in the front. I went to one hairdresser who did their best, but I was not happy. I consulted with Venard and quickly made an appointment to get the color corrected. She was patient and delicate as she took my hair through the process of lifting/bleaching my hair to get the white streak I was hoping for! She used the best products and I did not feel any tingling or burning during the process. I AM SO PLEASED, HAPPY and SATISFIED with her work! She truly knows her craft! I have found a new stylist!

I got twists done here. They were messy and got tangled together with fairy knots. The style lasted 2-3 weeks instead of the 6 weeks I expected and I spent a good amount of money on these ($190). Also, even though I asked the stylist to use a heat protectant, she didn’t and there are couple strands here and there that are heat damaged which has never happened to me before when braiding my hair (not severe but still annoying). Overall, this experience caused me stress. When I reached out to Venard I got no response which is why I have decided to come on here.

Venard is soooo sweet. I came in with red hair and I wanted to go honey blonde. She took her time to lift the red off and she did an amazing job! She was so kind and patient too. I found my new favorite hair salon 🙂 I highly recommend her! Hair coloring

I went And got my hair washed and braided last week. And the quality of how my braids turned out was impressive. Usually I hate getting my hair braided because it hurts. But the oils Venard used kept the pain to a minimum. Plus the scent smelled amazing. All in all I was very happy with how my braids turned out. Hairstyling

I had a great experience here. Venard is an expert at cutting and styling all types of hair. I have wavy/curly hair and she gave me a great short style and made sure I was happy with it. She really listened to me and explained that she believes that the customer knows their hair the best. She took plenty of time and was very thorough. The shop is super cute and clean. She’s also a sweetheart and fun to talk to! Highly recommend.
