Sue did my wedding hair and makeup, as well as my moms, and my bridesmaids! She was FANTASTIC! Sue was prepared, timely, used incredible products, very knowledgeable about all the products she was using, and overall was a great person to work with! My trial (in her home) was fun and relaxed and she really listened to my vision for the day. And the day of, Sue re-created that vision perfectly! Would definitely recommend her to any Northern Virginia area bride! *Sue and a second stylist did all hair in attached pictures!

Sue is wonderful to work with. She is kind, courteous, gentle, and gives great advice for how to keep my hair color looking fresh for longer, offers fabulous products for sale in her studio, and knows a lot about the science behind hair care. I have learned a lot from her and continue to do so. I’ve been a loyal customer of hers since I found her. For me, the best thing is that I am the only client present during my appointments. As I have misophonia and noise drive me up the wall, I love how quiet and peaceful it is while my services are rendered. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Sue worked MAGIC on my hair!!! It was previously two tone and brassy from grown out color. I showed her some pictures found on Instagram and what I would love for it to look like. Anytime I have had my hair done or colored in the past at different salons, I have been told it was not possible on my hair or it would look nothing like I showed. Not with Sue! I looked just like what I showed her! I could not believe it! I have received so many compliments and my sister now wants to go see Sue to have her do her hair! Thank you so much Sue!!

I can’t not say enough good things about Beauty by Sue! I had my first appointment with her a few weeks ago and it was amazing. She is very knowledgeable about hair and gray coverage. I first went to a hair consult and it was great to meet and talk with her about what I wanted with my hair. She was very attentive and took her time to talk with me about covering my gray hair. Today was my very first time visiting Sue. I have huge coarse hair and she didn’t even bat an eyelash. Within 15 minutes she had a game plan for getting my dark hair lightened to blonde and gave me the most beautiful caramel highlights!
