Mel is a true professional; talented and a joy to work with. I am a portrait photographer who has worked with dozens of makeup artists, and recently had to reach out to find a new hair and makeup artist when my regular gals were unavailable. It was a blessing in disguise! Mel is excellent with communication, takes her business seriously, and is genuinely passionate about what she does. She is a joy to be around, makes you feel comfortable immediately, and is a refreshingly caring person as well. And I suppose I should add, she’s great at what she does! Love Melissa! I’ve been doing the same boring haircut for awhile prior to meeting her. She listened to what I’ve done and what I like and then threw in a few suggestions. She brought my natural curls out (which I didn’t realize I had) and gave me a fun and sassy new look. She really took the time to get everything done right, making sure to perfect the look.

She is very nice and courteous but can not cut curly hair which I have. She razored my hair with scissors (which I didn’t even know you could do) and by the time I figured out what she was doing it was too late. I will be wearing my hair in a bun for a very long time until it grows out. I hope this review helps a fellow curly avoid the same mistake.

So amazing. The trial and day of the wedding were great! She listened, took the time, and wanted to know exactly what I wanted. She came onsite for the wedding, was extremely professional, flexible and did a phenomenal job. 100% the best.
