Critical: PunctualityI just had the worst experience at this salon. First let’s start that With my 9:00 am appointment for which they did not open until 9:20. She called me after 9 to tell me she would be there late bc she has been working 12 hour days. Ok sounds like a you problem but I told her I would wait. Ila has a women that is just out of nail school which I found endearing. I wanted to like this place. But the manicure was excruciating. My cuticles are mangled and nicked! I decided to forgo the pedicure bc no way I could go through that pain on my feet.In the mean time I was getting a root touch up done bc I wanted to help out the salon. Well after she took the color off she sent me on my way just as I was. No cleaning off the color. Nothing. Ms Ila has a lot to learn about being a business woman and being attentive to customer service!I just had the worst experience at this salon. I just had the worst experience at this salon. First let’s start that With my 9:00 am appointment for which they did not open until 9:20. I was so impressed with her work that I knew that she was going to be my permanent hair stylist. I’m so proud of her for her opening her own salon!. She is sooooo good with color and cuts. If you check out her Instagram (Beauty_by_Ila) you will see for yourself.Not only did I find a great hairstylist… I found a new friend. Every time I’m in her chair we could talk about anything and everything. She is really friendly, hardworking, talented, outgoing, just good vibes all around. Very easy to talk to! There is never an awkward moment with her. I walked in the other day and she was with another client doing her hair. It’s like ila attracts others that also have great vibes. Her salon is very clean and welcoming. She takes the Covid precautions which is important to me. I met Ila when I walked into hair cuttery one time and needed a hair cut. I was so impressed with her work that I knew that she was going to be my permanent hair stylist. I then was charged $10 for dip removal no problem and then she started my hands and was scraping me and cutting me often. I didn’t say anything and continued. At the end ILLA used a bad over lay or glue and she noticed and was ok with her work as she had another client waiting already. I text her the next day as my set looked awful and was chipping and she said next time she would use something better.
