Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI am so impressed with Beauty Beach Lounge. My first appointment was with Michelle – I desperately needed help with my highlights that had been messed up by a stylist at a different salon. Michelle took a few minutes to inspect my hair and immediately said, ‘I have to be honest with you, we have another stylist here who specializes in this type of work, and I think you should see her instead of me.’ It’s so rare to find honest people that are looking out for the interest of the client. While I was there, Michelle did give me an amazing cut and condition; she was great! I came back a few weeks later and met with Jacquie and she was magical. She fixed a botched highlight job in just a few hours and I came out looking like a new person. I almost cried when I saw the finished product. I definitely will be a return customer. I am so impressed with Beauty Beach Lounge. My first appointment was with Michelle – I desperately needed help with my highlights that had been messed up by a stylist at a different salon. Michelle took a few minutes to inspect my hair and immediately said, ‘I have to be honest with you, we have another stylist here who specializes in this type of work, and I think you should see her instead of me.’ It’s so rare to find honest people that are looking out for the interest of the client. Critical: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismJust went for a first time haircut at this location. The location itself is very nice looking and convenient and the communication with the staff at the front desk was great – they even accommodated me when I mixed up my appointment time and came in early. Also the first time price is so affordable for the area I couldn’t believe it. With all that said, would definitely not return. My stylist was nice enough, but did not ask me how I wear/part my hair before getting started or communicate what she planned to do. I’m not too picky so when I saw I was getting full layers across my hair I just went with it. As she cut however, she would take a full section of hair directly over my head and let the pieces of hair fall on the top of my head and face requiring me to frequently brush them away. She also couldn’t provide me with cut recommendations based on my hair goals and I had to sit and stand multiple times during the hair cut (in addition to feeling like my hair was being pulled out). Very nice stylist just pretty new and I’m surprised there isn’t more oversight. Haircut was okay, a little uneven which I called out there and didn’t get fixed. Overall haircut quality was about what I’d expect at Supercuts – does the job but wouldn’t trust if I were specific about my hair.Just went for a first time haircut at this location. Just went for a first time haircut at this location. The location itself is very nice looking and convenient and the communication with the staff at the front desk was great – they even accommodated me when I mixed up my appointment time and came in early. Also the first time price is so affordable for the area I couldn’t believe it. With all that said, would definitely not return. My stylist was nice enough, but did not ask me how I wear/part my hair before getting started or communicate what she planned to do. Jenn Nairn, one of the owners of the salon completely ruined my hair. I am talking it fell out in her hands ruined. I just wanted to go blonde, and I trusted her process. I regret this sooooo much and still beat myself up about it. Now I am left with maybe 2 years to get back on track if ever. She burned my scalp too so I am just praying that this does not affect my new hair growth. Honestly I am so traumatized I can hardly even write this review, even though it has been months. I wish I could give zero stars or negative stars. Jenn Nairn, one of the owners of the salon completely ruined my hair. I am talking it fell out in her hands ruined. I just wanted to go blonde, and I trusted her process.
