She does amazing Dreamcatcher extensions and has colored and lightened my hair working toward my goal of a level 2 dark brown to a silver/grey. I have gone to this salon a handful of times, each time hoping for a better experience. It has not happened. I have gotten three Brazilian waxes and each time had issues. The last straw was going in for a haircut and paying 30 bucks for what was essentially a 10 dollar Great Clips experience. For that price I expect more than to have my hair straightened and dry cut. Three stars because each employee I’ve dealt with was friendly.

Beauty Bar is everything that a day spa should be. It’s clean and meticulously kept, beautifully and modernly decorated, has every service you could want, and friendly attentive staff. I receive Brazilian and underarm waxing from Amber B. She seeks perfection in her work and gives all of her attention to her client while she is with them. She has colored and cut my hair several times as well, and I’ve never received so many compliments before. I highly recommend Beauty Bar as a client and a nurse.

I read the reviews and thought this would be a good place to get my hair lightened, I have dark blonde hair and wanted it to be lighter. The lady must have not understood what my goal was, to get my natural color gone, but we decided that highlights were the way to go. I left with nothing changed but 3-4 very distinct highlights in the left side of my part and nothing on the right side. Not very thrilled…. hopefully it will blend over the next few weeks

Terrible experience. I discussed and showed pictures of the cut I was looking for. Stylist began to cut my hair, and this was the 1st time I had a “dry” haircut. I had a grown out asymmetrical Bob haircut, my right side was longer than the left and layered up higher in the back. When she finished, my left was now longer than the right! My hair was very uneven in the back, the sides and did not layer at all. The girl completely butchered my hair. I had to go have it fixed@ Salon 21 instead. Now my hair is approximately 3 inches shorter than I head planned because of the butchering I received. After telling my sorry to some other women, I’m being told this is common at this salon. Shame on the owner for allowing these “stylists” to do this to customers hair. Serious retraining needs to take place!
