Critical: Professionalism, QualityI was a first time client this past Saturday and I unfortunately didn’t have a great experience.My hairstylist Amber was backed up 30 minutes but I was understanding because I would rather have a great experience and be late than be on time and not. I wished the receptionist would have relayed this information to me though instead of leaving me sit wondering what was going on.So when Amber comes to get me I can tell she is frustrated which I could understand. She asks me what I want and when I tell her she said that’s not what I booked. I know 100% I booked it correctly because I wrote it down and read it to the receptionist twice when booking. Amber then got more frustrated at the situation and was vocally expressing it which made me uncomfortable and I asked if we could just do part of what I wanted so she wouldn’t be running any more behind. She said she could and walks away to get color.While she was putting toner on she waxed my eyebrows and did a good job on the shape but she tore off skin under my eyebrows and I’m not sure why she was even putting wax that low on my eye. I have had my brows done many many times before and never had scabs the next day.I wanted to give her the benefit of doubt for just having an off day but after waking up to two scabs under my brows I just didn’t think that was fair to me — the customer paying.My hair turned out nice and the facility was beautiful I just won’t be coming back because I didn’t feel like I was made a priority and as someone who works in the service industry — customer service is extremely important and I value that.Services: Body waxing, Haircut, Hair coloringI was a first time client this past Saturday and I unfortunately didn’t have a great experience. …More

I was a first time client this past Saturday and I unfortunately didn’t have a great experience.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI usually don’t leave Google reviews, but I had to for David Scott Salon! I really needed a haircut right before a wedding that I was the maid of honor for and was between hair stylists, so I needed to find somewhere new, fast! When I called a few weeks ago, David Scott Salon had a cancellation for one of their stylists, so I was able to get in same day! Service was great, and I am still getting compliments on my hair weeks later. I had a partial highlight and cut. I usually don’t leave Google reviews, but I had to for David Scott Salon! I really needed a haircut right before a wedding that I was the maid of honor for and was between hair stylists, so I needed to find somewhere new, fast! I’m mixed-race, and finding someone who understands our hair is tough. I’m in the process of healing my curls from a lot of color and heat damage and Michael listened to my hair history and goals. He made suggestions based on my current situation and I’m in love with the haircut. I just had an appointment with Michael Z and received stunning results. I’m mixed-race, and finding someone who understands our hair is tough. I’m in the process of healing my curls from a lot of color and heat damage and Michael listened to my hair history and goals. He made suggestions based on my current situation and I’m in love with the haircut.
