I found this salon online. I have a chronic illness and cannot sit for long so avoid getting my hair done. I had the same hair dresser in DC for 12 years so was hesitant to try anyone new. They are welcoming and listen to exactly what you want. Karla is so kind and open. Highly recommend!

Positive: Punctuality, QualityLet me start by saying this..because I have very thin and baby fine hair, I am very selective or should I say picky about who does my hair . If it gets screwed up its over because my hair doesn’t grow fast. I had a stylist whom I adored for 6 years, with heavy heart to mention she passed away in November. I’ve not had a cut or style since then due to anxiety of going to the wrong stylist and my hair getting ruined. I googled several places and prayed that I could find the right person with the right skill who knows and understands my hair type. I found Beauty and the Beach,I called and spoke to a stylist named Maureen and I informed her of my insecurities and she assured me she understands my feelings because she too had the same hair type. I was able to see her SAME DAY. She was very friendly and not only that she proved to me she knew how to manage and create the hairstyle I was looking for. I left not only thanking her but thanking God I found her and ill claim her as my new stylist and I would encourage whomever is reading this to do the same. I wrote a review a couple of weeks ago that I was unhappy with my haircut…..2 weeks later it is the BEST cut I’ve ever had……it is still shorter than I wanted it but the cut itself is great….Renee I apologize…if you allow me to I may come back when it grows out some…great cut just would have liked it a little longer….sorry for previous post….
