This place is soooo unprofessional…. This was my FIRST AND LAST time here. I had a 12:30 appointment got there on time to find 2 women whose appointment was at 10am and therefore was taken before me while i waited 3 hours for the stylist to do both of them. Then the stylist asks me “DO I WANT TO RESCHEDULE?!” NO you want to take 2 women who arrived at 12 and their appointment was at 10 therefore I had to wait you are going to stay and do my hair….!!! Then purposefully in my opinion on the phone holding personal conversations… nope dont think i will be returning here… FIRST AND LAST

I had called the day before my appt and spoke to a gentleman and we spoke about details of what I wanted done and a day and time. We agreed on me going in the next day for my appt with him. I got there loved the energy from him all positive vibes. Thing is I wanted a cut and color. He said he would relax the sides and keep the top natural as that was the part that would be colored. Ok so as he relaxed my hair it started to burn after maybe 5 mins really bad I’ve been natural for maybe 4-5 years so not sure if this is one reason why. The way he cut my hair after I went home and could really see the next day after my curls fell that I put in when I went home looked like it was a child playing with scissors in the back of my head. I also have bad burns from the relaxer in the back of my head which doesn’t feel to good especially since I haven’t had to deal with this in years being a natural. I heard many great things about Michelle and her shop which is one reason I choose that shop, but this wasn’t a great experience for me. I’m so funny about who I allow in my hair and this is one reason why. I was already nervous going into it and was really hoping for a great experience. It didn’t go well for me and I don’t usually write reviews and would normally deal with it and move but this is my hair. I hope others have a better experience then I did as I seen and heard great things it just didn’t happen for me.

Critical: QualityI came to this salon twice and the 2nd time I had a bad experience and I will never go back. I went on a Saturday when the salon offers $25 specials for a silk press. The girl that did my hair used so much heat that I was left with heat damage that took almost 2 years to repair. With the proper tools 1 pass over the hair is all that’s needed not 5/6. Some of the stylists there can do hair but not all so it’s a hit and miss. I came to this salon twice and the 2nd time I had a bad experience and I will never go back. I went on a Saturday when the salon offers $25 specials for a silk press. The girl that did my hair used so much heat that I was left with heat damage that took almost 2 years to repair. With the proper tools 1 pass over the hair is all that’s needed not 5/6. I met with Michelle. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and i have been looking for a stylist who could do natural hair. Michelle did her thing, not only did she do a nice cut, but I haven’t had a wash like that in years. I had her color my hair, because of the gray, and she did a wonderful job. I love the color, and where the gray was, the color gave me beautiful highlights. They are reasonably priced as well. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants positive energy, adult conversation, and a “mature” drama free not old clientele. There’s another person who did a color and feed ins, I dont remember her name and she did an excellent job on her client’s hair as well. I don’t know if I just happened to come on a good day, or if that’s their vibe at all times, if so, keep doing what you do. Oh I forgot to say, my only problem is that she is cash only. I never carry cash, but it’s an ATM in the plaza.

No one at front desk…. Couldn’t differentiate who worked there and who didn’t. I was asked what I was getting done and if I had an appointment by a lady who was in the first chair doing another lady’s hair. I said I have a 12:30 with Michele she said ok. I sat for a 30 mins with no other communication and just walked out at 1. Why triple book ?? I Cannot Express enough how satisfied I am with my hair. EVERYONE tells me how much they “really like” my hair and how my cut fits me.I had alot of damage to my hair and now it feels healthy again.
