I came in for a wash and braid down for a wig install. Shana rushed the whole process. She didn’t shampoo and wash my scalp so my scalp was still dirty with build up that you can see, feel and scratch off through my braids. She did little to no detangling during the conditioning process. Then when it came time to braid my hair down, as it wasn’t detangle when conditioned, she had to yank on my hair to separate them. To save face, mid way she did a bit of detangling and I could literally hear my hair ripping off with each pull. Truly disappointed, I’m actually scared to see the damage when į wash my own hair soon. A true waste of $45.

I have been getting my hair braided for 10 years now and this has got to be the most overpriced for average quality I have seen! Unsure how this place has such high ratings. They charge waaayyyy to much for simple styles. Plus their braiding sizing is completely off. Ask for small, give you medium. Ask for medium you get large. Ask for large you getting jumbo but yet they charge like they a top salon in Manhattan. Didnt even show the first braid to confirm if satisfied because had I seen the braids I would have said smaller. Signs of an amateur tech. I would say avoid and save your coins. Not impressed. Only gave 2 stars because they were clean and followed COVID protocol.
