She is extremely professional, talented and patient hairdresser. I drive 37 miles one way to use Edwina’s business and I have been going to her for at least four years now because she is simply the best and I have never been disappointed. She is extremely professional, talented and patient hairdresser. She will not let you leave her salon unless you are 100% satisfied and that not a hair is out of place and her prices are very reasonable. She is god sent and she is the only hairdresser for me! Five Stars!

This was my first ever salon experience so I was pretty nervous going into it as I don’t trust anyone with my hair, but she assured me that I’d be well taken care of. This place was HORRIBLE. I got medium length box braids done & it was the worst experience of my life. She left when my hair was maybe a quarter of the way being done to go get pizza then once she came back she proceeded to watch Wendy Williams all while my hair was not even half way done. She constantly kept stopping & disappearing for 10-20 mins. She tugged & pulled my hair to the point that I could hear my hair ripping & being pulled out. She charged me $150 for such a mediocre job. I was in a lot of pain after it was done that I took it out less than a week later. I had a lot of damage done because of the way she carelessly did my hair. That made me never want to visit another salon again. NEVER GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE.

Came here I think my 11th grade year .. at the time I did a big chop and realized feed in braid was helping my hair a lot … it was right before school & no one else was available or just didn’t want to do it .. but she was available & I was very thankful ..so when me and my mother arrived we had to wait on her to come to the shop (let that go cause I thought maybe traffic.) & as far as the other reviews of her leaving mid way through your hair is true .(let it go cause it was a good reasoning she said she had to go pick her son up which is understanding ). Okkkaay so I showed her the picture before hand of how I wanted my hair when she left and I looked at my hair I wanted to cry because it looked nothing like the photo the few braids that she did start on my hair looked puffy because she didn’t apply any product to my hair .. so then my mom brought it to her attention like hey can we try something differently cause this is puffy because my hair gets really poofy from being blow dry … if you aren’t going to apply product then then braid the hair down tight I thought to myself (didn’t look like that ) back to mom so my mom was telling her can we try something else & I didn’t like it which was true why pay for something I didn’t like & didn’t look like the picture .. so after that she caught a lil attitude & said something like don’t discredit my work to my mother & then with the product thing she said oh I like to put my products on top when I’m finish .. what sense does that make cause you aren’t laying down as much as you would doing while your doing the hair . so rewind back to the mother part I felt a little offended cause I’m like hold first your not doing my hair the right way and I’m telling you that as a customer then your not talking to your customers in a polite way instead of saying hey I understand let’s fix it so you can look nice for back to school . So back to when she was being told about my hair not being done right she took the weave out of my hair and re did it .. a way that I had before & it looked a little better still I didn’t like it but I had to deal with it & then she put the gel on top & then put me under the dryer .. not a good idea .. gel + heat after a while equals flakes . So when that was over I paid her & left . But fast forward would I ever come back here no & I wouldn’t refer anyone to come here either definitely not .
