I’ve had three hair stylists as a young adult and now into my 50’s. ALL have been great. All three had their talents and the salons differed greatly. I’ve been going to Kathie for over 12 years now, and unless she quits are leaves the area, I’m going to be with her for that many years and probably more. Kathie is on top of new styles/cuts/colors and listens to what you want. However, when I’m in the mood for a change, I put that decision in her hands because she knows my hair and she knows me. I’m a wash it, throw some product in it, and out the door kind of woman. I’m useless w/a curling iron/flat iron and can barely manage using a hair dryer. I’ve been coloring my hair for years (shhhh), and recently, I tolk Kathie that I was tired of fighting a losing battle and wanted to go gray. Well, she did step in on this offering her advice because she knew that my hair was at the stage that it wouldn’t be a “pretty gray”. So, she lightened it and we are now in harmonious agreement w/the gray. I’ve had more compliments than I can count and now that Kathie is back to full time (WooHOO!), her former clients are coming back in droves.
