I have just moved in to Elk Grove Village and was in need of finding the right barber shop for me. I came across Beardsley’s due to their location. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere was great – very nice, clean place. In addition, the process of booking the appointment could not have been easier. I ended up booking an appointment with Nick due to his reviews and they were definitely spot on about Nick – he was fantastic! Nick is incredibly skilled at his craft and very polite. I appreciate him taking care of me and giving his advice on some of the hair products. I am hoping to be back for a haircut with Nick in the future! Thank you, Beardsley’s, for taking great care of me!

I went to Beardsleys today for an appointment and asked nick ruggiero for a mid fade and a little off the top and he gave be a really messed up short and like 4 inches off the top cut that was completely uneven and messed up. Don’t recommend him. If there was a zero start rating I would chose this. Haircut

Tried Nicky a while ago and he has never disappointed. The guy knows what he’s doing with fades and other types of haircuts. He offers suggestions and I’ve taken some of them and have been very impressed. He’s very detail oriented and makes sure you love the haircut before you leave. 10/10 would recommend him to friends

I came in for a cut with nick, he did an awesome job. Fade was super clean, did an great job on top and could tell he loved the profession. He was attentive to what I wanted for my cut, as well as noticed exactly where the last barber started my fade. He also did my beard which he did an excellent job on as well. I’ll definitely swing in for some more cuts with Nick. Great work

My old barber was moving towns so I wanted to find someone who could match his quality of a haircut. I got in touch with a good friend of mine Bryan who is currently employed with Beardsley Barber shop, he told me to come in and see what he can do. Not only was the service phenomenal, but Bryan was able to turn me into a customer with one visit. Super friendly, great environment, wonderful haircuts, I will go back once a week to get cut by Bryan, great service overall!

They’re always professional and offer a welcoming environment. Not sure why I didn’t start going to a barber earlier in my life.
