Ok, this review I am conflicted on because I got a good haircut and had a great conversation for only $15. However, I still left there a little disappointed and it had nothing to do with the quality of haircut that I got because I am 100% satisfied with the haircut. The name of the shop is Beards and Shears, and I have a big beard, whenever I try a new barber I am apprehensive about who’s cutting it. First, there is no beard trim price advertised and second, there was no offer for a beard trim. I expect to pay more for a trim but I also expect the barber to be confident in their ability to do it. Great place for a family style haircut but maybe Beards should be left out of the name. This was my perception and I truly hope I was wrong.

My boyfriend went here a few months ago and he asked for a mohawk style cut. I’m assuming the lady who does hair here is the owner and she wasn’t very friendly towards his request. She acted like it was very off-putting by saying “I just do normal hair cuts” ? Incredibly rude, but okay. The cut turned out fine, however, we decided not to return after that kind of experience.

Gentleman you deserve a proper barber and this is the best around. I never thought that way until I experienced proper clipper technique and a straight razor shave. I used to have friends or my wife shave my head and tried to maintain my beard myself. Now I can’t imagine letting anyone but Liza keep me looking my best. My wife is finally happy with my beard. The prices are great and the results are amazing.
