I moved to Beacon not to long ago and was searching for a barber, and a friend recommended Vinnie at the Beacon Barber Shop. I finally went on Friday and damn, am I glad I did. First off you have to make an appointment, which I did. When I got in I was greeted by Vinnie. Who asked me how I wanted my hair cut and my beard trimmed. I explained and Vinnie went to work. Vinnie took care of business, and let me tell you, this fella is amazing. He has been in business at the same location for 28 years and holy cow did it show. He takes his time, does what you want and wants to be sure that you are happy when you leave his shop. That my friends is how it’s done. Vinnie is a barber from a time where you, the customer matter more than the price you are paying. This is my new place to go for as long as this man stays in business. It is so hard to find a barber with the type of customer service that Vinnie offers. His prices are on par with everyone else and again the job he does is amazing. I highly recommend if you need a haircut or a beard trim.

Very disappointing. I had long hair and asked for a trim and just to clean it up some. I was pretty clear about it and thought we were on the same page, but it turns out we weren’t as he pretty much cut off all my hair and left me with a short cut. I will not be returning.

I’m never disappointed in Vinny’s cuts. Come in with an image of you have one or just use some good descriptions to tell him how you like your hair cut and he’s got it done. The business has changed a bit now, so you need to call ahead of time but the appointments are easy to get.

Vinny. Professional. Best barber I’ve ever known. I’m 47. I was in the military and started cutting my own hair bc others weren’t good. Sometimes I’d get lucky but with vinny it’s experience, skill, and pride in work. Highly and only recommended!

Don’t know what these two negative reviews are about, been going there for two years and never had a problem. I tell him (Vinny the barber) what I want and I get it (regular cut), no complaints. Everyone coming out of the chair seems satisfied with the cut and the price!!! ($14).
