Awful experience because the girl had an attitude and was more focused on selling me a membership than making sure my first time spray tanning would be a good experience. It’s like a switch went off with her as soon as I said I didn’t want to buy the membership because it was my first time and I wanted to see how it would go. She was VERY RUDE & UNHELPFUL and didn’t even show me how to use the machine properly. She set me up for failure and made my experience with this place go very badly. I came here 5/23/22 with my mom, 2 days before my wedding, because we received coupons from the SLC bridal expo. I wish I could remember the name of the girl who “helped” us, I think Paige. She was horrible. I told her 3 times this was our first time spray tanning, we’ve never done this before, and she continued to try up-selling us. SO ANNOYING. When it came my turn, she just told me which booth to go to, didn’t go back there with me to go through what to do exactly and how to start the spray. So me not knowing what I’m doing because this was my 1st time, messed up. Luckily, another girl who was there was sooo sweet and helpful, I think her name was Emily? She let me get a redo spray the next day. But regardless, I will NEVER set foot in this Beaches Tanning Center EVER again because of the 1st girl who was so rude and unprofessional and unhelpful!

HORRIBLE customer service and attitude from the front desk girl Ramsay, buyers beware if you buy a Groupon they will only let you use it once even though it lets you buy it multiple times and it says NOWHERE in the fine print that you only get one, VERY shady. Go to the reef tanning up the street they have better quality sprays and beds as well as the spray tans at the reef actually look great and last for weeks

So my husband and I are NEXT DOOR at the Dominos and the instructions on the Dominos car side pick up say park in front of their doors (we did) and turn your hazards on so they know you are waiting. Well we always do as they say. We’re sitting minding our own business and the front desk girl of this place walks to the front window and makes gestures at us that were not appropriate. We weren’t even outside the business. She eventually gave up but geez not very kind if you ask me. If they give that kind of attitude to random people people should be wary. I’m sure there are much better tanning places around.

Aubrey, Emily and Hailey are EXCELLENT at making you feel welcome and always have a smile for everyone!! They are the reason I keep coming to this location exclusively!! Even during super busy hours these girl’s are always professional, helpful and bring such a fun atmosphere the whole time you spend here. This location is very clean and you’ll never see these girl’s not running to do laundry, clean another station for the next client, or steam cleaning the floors. I highly recommend this location!!!

I’ve docked two stars for the following reasons. Always understaffed. One membership takes them 20-30 minutes with up sales and tour/instruction. The problem with this is you have members waiting for that time when you could pause for 30 seconds and check them in. Seems pretty obvious but numerous times we’ve waited the 20-30 minutes and had to wait an additional 15 so the new member could tan… time is money for your company as well as your clients. Luckily your staff saved 3 stars or it would have been 1. Seriously look at your operation and your peak times. Evaluate your process and perhaps do some retraining. Other than that it’s fairly amazing.

This place is amazing. 50% of the reason we go here is because of the employees. They are fantastically friendly, call us by our first names, always inquire about the family and such. The tanning beds are amazing and there is almost never a wait. Page and Emily are OUR FAVORITES. 10-10 highly recommended. Tanning

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThis location is the absolute worst. I came into this location and found two girls, one who said she was the store manager, Kylie and another girl named Kylie as well speaking negative about me and my husband as soon as we walked into our rooms to tan. I could hear the whole conversation. Extremely unprofessional. All of this after I spent about 200$ on products and membership with them a few days prior. I cancelled my membership as a whole because of this experience. Palm beach is better than this place!!!! Also I might add how dirty and disgusting the beds are. Hair and dried spray all over the beds. I would suggest their corporate office hiring a new team and manager that isn’t a bunch of young girls running this store or it will not last. No wonder the turn over is so high. Especially with the awful location and construction. My husband was also there the last time and heard the same manager yelling at another employee in front of customers.
