Beach House Spa - Isle of Palms, SC 29451

I have been coming to this quaint little spa since we moved here 7 years ago. My 1st massage with Beth was during my 1st pregnancy 5 years ago and she was nothing short of phenomenal. It was because of her and her knowledge of prenatal massage and the pregnant female body, that I was able to get any sleep during that pregnancy. During my massage she taught me how to utilize pillows to get more comfortable as I had not been able to find a position that worked well for me yet (no pregnancy pillow or body pillow had worked for me at home).

My wife has visited this place three times, and in three times each time was successfully worse. The final straw was this weekend. My wife had a 90 minute massage, she was made to feel so uncomfortable, Beth the massage therapist who was doing the service was seemingly so bad at her job that she did not listen to my wife. She was using her own inner thigh to rest my wife’s appendages on. She made my wife lie on a wet towel the whole time. My wife said no hot stones yet she proceeded to put hot stones on her. She used my wife’s back as a table to just lay lotion on. How this place and this massage therapist has a license is beyond me. We tried to bring this to the owners attention. I was met with a barrage of insults and hostility immediately via phone call. I also have a barrage of insults via text message.

Beth is so very skilled. Twice she has worked out crazy kinks in my shoulders. Today I had a runner’s stitch that locked up my shoulder and whole left side. In an hour she unlocked my whole side and I am all good now. Truly a professional who knows deep massage.

This was my second time going to Patrick for a Lymphatic massage, both times were amazing. The first time I went I had a rash on my arms that I could not get rid of or find the cause of, even after many doctor visits. The morning after my Lymphatic Massage my rash was gone, I couldn’t believe it. I am positive the Lymphatic massage had something to do with it. . Either way, it’s an amazing way to relax and spend 90 minutes. You will not be disappointed !

My husband and I did a couples’ massage here while on our honeymoon. The owner is such a delight and a very nice gentleman to chat with. Beth & Laura were our masseuses and they both did an incredible job. The place is very small so we couldn’t do our massage in the same room, but we didn’t mind! It was awesome to “shop local” and support an Isle of Palms business while on vacation.

I purchased massages for my parents as a present while on vacation. They came home and said such great things my sister and I quickly called up to book massages as well.
