Critical: Professionalism, QualityI’m usually easy to please and get along with. I try to cause no drama or be “problematic” in any way, but I was really shocked by the way my friend and I were treated tonight. We work late and strive to make it by 7, we’ve been told by an employee that they can’t even clock out until 7:15 but they sure did tonight. We were about 10-15 mins out from closing, trying to go in to tan after work to which we were met at the door with an employee basically trying to tell us we couldn’t tan. To which we responded we didn’t know for sure and thought they accepted people until 7/715, mind you, we kindly responded “oh we can come back, we didn’t know” and apologized in which the employee threw her hand up in disgust and said “well we can’t turn y’all away”, so we turned around and left at the distasteful attitude. We didn’t even make it 10ft from the door before we were met with complete attitude and straight up rudeness to be honest. We understood they closed soon, however, we could’ve been treated a completely different way, especially since we weren’t busting the doors down or demanding to tan. The two employees left around 7 on the dot and didn’t even care to make eye contact with us when they left (we were outside discussing a few things from work). I’ll make sure to not treat anyone the way we were treated tonight, not to mention, on base, we don’t get the luxury of telling people when we close and that we “can’t turn them away”.
