I go here to tan and every time makayla is working when she sees me get out of my car she already has a room ready for me to tan. She has such a positive attitude every time I go in. I have been tanning at beach bun since I was 16. I’m now 30 and it has changed alot. I can honestly say I will no longer be a customer. Their beds seem to be getting damaged and they are not fixing them. The beds that spray water are always empty and never spray water. Plus now people have an app and can schedule tans which is really inconvenient because them 90% of the beds have a long wait for them due to people’s tanning appointments. I work at Red Robin right beside beach bum and use to go tan on my breaks but that became impossible with the appointment tans because my break is never long enough to have to wait 30 minutes on a bed. I also can’t schedule a tan because my break is a a different time every day.

Beach Bum has been my go to for years and I feel I have no reason to change that. The staff are almost always super friendly and bubbly and accommodating. The rooms are cozy and the bed options and services are great. The hours work great with my schedule as well.

Beach Bum is the best. They have fantastic beds that get you really tan really fast. The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable but my favorite is definitely their spray tans. They customize it to fit you perfectly. Anytime I have had a special event or just want some extra color, they are my first stop. All of the staff is awesome but if you get the chance, ask for Gabbie. She’s the best and had me looking absolutely flawless for my wedding day.

I absolutely love the Winchester Beach Bum! It is so clean and has an excellent selection of beds! The single person dry sauna has been an absolute game changer for me over the last 2 years contributing to weightloss, skin quality, heart health and the meditative atmosphere it provides. During Covid, I felt the absence of it and asked every day when it would be up and running. Love love love Beach Bum!

Great knowledgeable staff only problem is the self tanning booth if you are a new user and dont ask before getting in as machine is supposed to tell you how to stand and move but you cant hear it! But staff immediately once i was out and told them i couldnt hear and i didnt get back done called management and had me get back n no charge to get back sprayed.( spray tan stand up booth)

This tanning salon has an amazing staff and a great atmosphere! I went here for a spray tan before my best friends wedding and it turned out perfect! I was very nervous because I had never had a spray tan before and I didn’t want to be orange but they did the EXACT color I wanted! The sprayer I had was sooo sweet and she answered all of the questions I had without ever sounding annoyed. Definitely will be back to this salon! 🙂

Don’t use Beach Bum tanning salon. My son bought me a membership for 30 days for Mothers Day. The owner is quite a salesman, he told my don that the Bronze level is just as good as any other level sand “ALL” beds give good tanning results. I went in 1 time and went to bed 9 for the full 12 minutes. I could have laid in my bed at home and gotten the same results! Absolutely nothing!! I told the girl and she said it is because you already have a tan….I haven’t tanned since last September! They did have a solution though, they could upgrade my package for another $100.00 to another level. Do I look like I just fell off the turnip truck? If I upgrade and they are the same quality as the Bronze what will you do then? Charge me another $100.00 to keep upgrading?? I have went back to the salon I have used the past 2 years and does have quality beds and if you have a problem the owner will make it right and not charge you to fix it! I will tell all of my friends that tan not to used Beach Bum and will refer them to the salon that I know and trust. Hope they sleep well ripping people off, I know 3 other people who had the same experience in Winchester! Everyone go to Extreme Tanning, Andrea (owner) is fabulous and staff is great and you get an excellent tan very quickly with their beds.
