I’ve gone to Beach Bum for almost 20 years and they do an incredible job for airbrush tanning. The girl that originally was going to do my tan was a little uncomfortable with my request because I asked for three thin layers but whoever her shift manager was was more experienced. I think she did a great job on the Spray Tan I think that they are very accommodating and sweet and I think that they are not tipped enough for the incredible service that they do so I always give them 20 bucks. I’ve never gone to any beach bum and had a bad experience.

I had arrived a little late to my appointment but called ahead to ask if I could still be seen. I spoke with Tony, he was so polite and kind. My spray tan experience was very comfortable, even though I can be self-conscious. Everyone made me feel welcome and comfortable. Would recommend this location. Not to mention, the tan looks very natural. Thank you!!

I never do tanning salons , but my wedding was coming up and I was feeling super pale. I believe I had Amanda.. but I’m terrible with names. She was top notch. My spray tan looked natural and lasted a week now. They explained how to take care of it etc. And there were no marks on my clothes or white dress

The place is immaculate and staff is beyond friendly and professional! They are always very helpful and accommodating. Once I forgot my rings there and when I came back my rings were waiting for me in a sealed envelope. And not to mention, the whole same staff has been working there for years, which is pretty incredible and speaks for itself! Amazing job!

I’ve been coming to beach bum for many years now (originally saddle brook until they closed). I can’t tell you how many friends have joined as well on my behalf. My daughter had an appointment for 6-4 at 10:30pm for an airbrush tan for her prom the next day! On 6-3, an associate called and said whoever made the appointment screwed up and the airbrush tech leaves at 9pm that day so we needed to change the time. My daughter had a softball dinner at 7 (planned for months) and all of the other typical prom rush preparations so we truly weren’t in a position to change times however, I said I would bring her in right after her dinner so between 8:30 or 8:45 but I did say I would come earlier IF I could but could not promise that. I was told no problem, just be there by 8:45. The day of the appointment I called around 6pm just to confirm since there was already a mistake on their part. Well, then I was told that the person scheduled it for 8:15 and after explaining everything, I was told sorry, there’s nothing they can do and if she’s not there by 8:15 she would not be able to get spray tanned. I was also told that someone was scheduled for 8:30, 9 and 9:30! How could my daughter be at a restaurant with her entire team at 7pm, eat, get her awards and be at beach bum by 8:15? Why would the person make her appointment for that time when I CLEARLY told them 8:30-8:45? To tell me there’s nothing they could do and offer me NOTHING to compensate for the now TWO mistakes already. This was for prom, they knew that. I would of been happy to accommodate the time change or reschedule if it was a possibility but there was just no way. I’m so disappointed and was treated terribly. On top of that, my daughter was not able to get the look she desired for her BIG day. It’s not the end of the world considering all of the things going on and sicknesses etc but this was a big day for my daughter and we had to get nails, toes, eyebrows first before the spray tan and we accommodated all of those things for this tan. it was too late for us to make arrangements to find another place to do this. I really have no other complaint. The staff are friendly, the store is clean etc. But I’m extremely disappointed and feel I let my daughter down. Thanks beach bum. After this months membership since I’ve already been charged, I will no longer Be supporting this business.
