Took my daughter for a tanning session for her upcoming Prom. There was only one girl working and she didn’t seem well trained to be left unsupervised. This was the first time tanning for my daughter so it was unclear exactly what she was supposed to do, my daughter had to call me in the room to ask me questions. I had to try and get this lady to assist us. She never gave my daughter eye protectors or explained what to do once the timer began.

I used to love this place, they had the best staff. In particular a lovely girl called Gina who was always so helpful and friendly. I heard they let her go for wanting a break which I guess they don’t give their staff as I had seen her eating lunch at the counter before. Why do people do this? Allow really friendly and helpful staff to be treated so badly. Anyway their loss. I’m sure she will be great somewhere else and I will find a different tanning salon as this one is f so friendly any more and the cleanliness has gone down hill.

I have been a customer of beach bum tanning for quite some time now. The staff is really friendly and the establishment is always clean. Sibel is amazing and is super helpful! You could tell she loves what she does and believes in what she promotes. She is absolutely amazing! For all your tanning needs go to her!!!

So had to change my review I have not been there 3 months I changed cards they had on file they called me to tell me my payment didn’t go threw I told the lady I have not been able to get there I would like to just cancel for now. She tells I me she can not do that I need to come down and do it in person I have been 80 dollars a month and I don’t have the time to go use it but you expect me to come down there pay you and cancel no common since at all. Pretty told me if I don’t go and cancel they will send me to collection and charge me until I go there and cancel. Great way to loose people cause you have this review and people I will be sharing this experience with. A little understanding would have kept me as a customer.

I go here quite often even though I am not pleased with their customer service at the counter at all. If there was a closer one to me I would try another beach bum. I wrote to corporate years ago about their girls at the counter. No improvement. They dont tell you about deals or promotions going on. They are not knowlegiable and/ or experienced in recommendations. This is where I have had my most issues at the counter. Other than that great massages!!!!

Went in with a lot of questions not knowing exactly what I needed and was greeted by Tony who was ready and more than happy to help. Tony thoroughly answered/explained all my questions and concerns and really took the time to get me started with everything that I needed and wanted. The bed along with the entire store was clean and ready. I recommend any tanners whether you are just starting out or have been tanning for years to visit beach bum and look out for Tony he is awesome!

It has great beds and stand up machines..Looks clean for the most part. Needs hooks to hang clothes in rooms? A bit pricey for the best beds..but they work well..

I’m in town visiting from Texas and opted for the “Shower in an Hour” airbrush spray tan. While the staff was super helpful and the girl who did my spray was VERY thorough and went over my whole body twice and advised me to wait longer than the hour, but no longer than 4 hours before washing off (I waited 3) there is zero color on my skin! I am a frequent airbrusher, so I did my whole drill of exfoliation, no moisturizer beforehand, etc., so the only thing I can attribute it to is the tan solution, which I am told is by Norvell. Keep your money on this one people…color is literally non-existent and there is a $10 upcharge for the shower in an hour tan. Wish I went the regular route, as this result is so not worth the effort.
