Love this salon! Jenn did my hair for my wedding in 2018 and I’ve been going to her salon since. She gave me 3 looks on my wedding day and I was so happy with each one. My hair looked exactly how I wanted it to. She traveled around with me with her curling iron, pins, spray and everything else she needed to ensure I would be touched up if needed. The wind wasn’t on our side that day but miraculously my hair stayed in place!! Aside from her outstanding hair talent, she is a beautiful, funny and kind person. She is the best!!! 10/10, I recommend for all the brides looking for a top quality salon/stylist.

It’s always difficult to trust a stylist that you have never used but we had no choice. Jen quickly put us at ease with her professionalism and understanding of our vision for our hair styles. I cannot say enough amazing things about this hair studio! The overall vibe is upbeat and amazing. Everyone is so incredibly nice and attentive. It’s so easy to book appointments with them. I even love the hair wash stations and the foil they use when coloring my hair because it doesn’t pull like the normal foils! Casey is normally who does my hair and she is FANTASTIC. Jen is also absolutely amazing! So friendly and caring. Needless to say I’ll be booking my coloring with them for the week before my wedding. If you’re looking for a great hair studio, THIS IS IT. Don’t walk, RUN to make your next hair appointment with them. Also they are covid safe! I felt very protected when I went for my last appointment!

I cannot say enough good things about Jen! She’s like a hair magician, I’ve been going here for almost 5 years now which says a lot in itself because I could never find a good hair salon. Not only is she an amazing stylist and colorist she’s an amazing person. She listens to what you want and boy does it turn out amazing ! She’s an expert when it comes to coloring and styling and if you need a fancy braid she sure does that too, as well as hair extensions. She just knows how to make you feel beautiful and confident, I would 100% recommend this salon. You won’t be disappointed !

Jen did my hair for my wedding and she was AMAZING!! She did exactly what I wanted and took her time for myself as well as my bridesmaids. Jen also came to my venue to fix my hair before and after the ceremony and she also assisted in fixing my dress and hair for the pictures!! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I won their contest and I was so excited to try a new salon. The reviews and photos got me even more excited. From the moment I walked in the staff has been nothing but friendly and I felt so comfortable I just said do what you want. I saw Marie for my color and Jen for a haircut. Both of them shared their opinions with me and I couldn’t of even imagined what the two of them created. On November 14 ,2015, I married the love of my life. From the beginning of the wedding planning process, brides dream of the perfect wedding where all their dreams come true. I have been a client of Jen’s for a few years now, and having her booked for my wedding was a necessity. Her amazing skills and personality complemented my vision and helped me prepare to walk down the aisle towards my future husband. Due to my necessity to have her do my hair on my special day, it was one of the first things I booked. At my trial, I had brought a few pictures of what I envisioned my hair to look like, and Jen made it happen. Once Jen had showed me all my ideas for my hair type (and extensions), she asked to show me some of her own ideas. Thank goodness I booked the 2 hour trial because once she started with her ideas, my nerves and uncertainty were put to rest. She literally went inside my head and pulled out the perfect hair style that I couldn’t even put into words. The morning of my wedding was more then I could ever dreamed of. I knew my hair and makeup (by Laura) would be amazing and my bridal party was with the best “glam squad” on Long Island. The extra steps Jen had taken made it even more special. She provided Bottle of champagne(which might have helped my nerves too- lol), Orange Juice, and glass champagne flutes. She designated clean area for our fruits, bagels and spreads accessible for for my large bridal party (9 bridesmaids and a flower girl) on was just more than I could of imagined from a hair studio. I would recommend Beauty and Elegance Hair Studio to anyone who ever needs a spectacular hair style to a formal event, especially a wedding! Thank you so much to Jen and her team! My day would not have been the same without them!

Incredible first experience. Kind and accommodating staff. Unpretentious. Most of all – the finished results were amazing. There are a lot of hacks out there. You can travel to the city, to a Top 10 salon, to a revered NYC colorist, or hit a Long Island salon to an ‘insta’ famous colorist with tens of thousands of subscribers… but they would not compare to Marie and Micki at B&E. So happy to have found them. Looking forward to years of great new looks!
