I was a walk in – cute looking salon and good price but the nail tech was constantly looking away or at her phone and so frantic with the electric nail file that she cut my skin 3 times – the third time drew blood! Critical: ValueAlthough BCBC is a nice nail salon, it is mediocre service. Anytime I made an appointment, I waited up to 20 minutes. Not only was there a wait, but I have been in the salon for up to three hours to have a basic acrylic set done. I have also had regular, gel, and dip manicures. Nearly every gel manicure I received came off within a few days due to bubbling and the products not being cured and dried all the way through. Similar experience with the dip manicure, except it was not opaque all the way through and only lasted about a week.My other complaint with BCBC is the pricing. Fir the same service, typically with the same manicurist, the price differed almost every visit I had at the salon.Overall, please do not waste your money and time here. Although BCBC is a nice nail salon, it is mediocre service. Anytime I made an appointment, I waited up to 20 minutes. Not only was there a wait, but I have been in the salon for up to three hours to have a basic acrylic set done. I have also had regular, gel, and dip manicures. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience. Husband gave me a gift certificate here for my first pedicure since baby was born (4 months). Nail tech did minimum, barely massaged feet (I had added on 10 min foot massage for extra charge) and left my heels MUCH rougher than before she exfoliated. Then claimed my gift certificate didn’t cover the price, when I knew how much was on there. Was able to straighten it out with the cashier, but didn’t feel right to tip after she (they?) tried to rip me off. They also upcharged the customer next to me for a “deluxe” service when I overheard her repeatedly ask for the basic/standard gel manicure.

I was speaking to a lady that didn’t understand what my needs were plus couldn’t answer either. So another one was called … and I was told yes sure. Next thing you know plastic tips were glued and I’m now having to correct the work as it was being done. Powder dip is horrible. Came in asking how to NOT glue on another set of nails and asked if they’re familiar with nail extensions that only involve gel …. I was speaking to a lady that didn’t understand what my needs were plus couldn’t answer either. So another one was called … and I was told yes sure. For the most part it’s a great place. They have alot of techs and can usually take you in every time you walk in. They usually all are good. The reason I reviewed it a 4 and not 5 is because they talk in their language way too much and sometimes a nail techs job isn’t that great and can cut your skin a little bit. They need to get hip to the new nail tools out there that are safer. I have noticed some of their techs have those tools though. Nice roomy nail salon so it’s a pretty comfy shop…its also in a nice and pretty classy shopping center.

I had to wait when I got their then wait again for someone else to paint my nails after the first women took the color off. Kim did the polish and kept getting in the phone and would stop to have conversations with other employees after already taking over an hr! On top of all that, the polish job was a mess!! So sloppy. I never leave any reviews, but this place was just terrible. As soon as I walked in no one greeted me, you were just expected to know what to do. Finally I got sat down and eventually I got the fill and new nail color. Well, the girl who did my nails just ruined it completely. Midway I wanted to get up and leave. She didn’t seal my nails correctly so there were pieces of the nail that looked dented. Never going here again.
