I am one happy customer, thanks to BB! This was only my second time in life ever getting my hair braided and I thought I would never have it done again. I got my hair done at an African shop in another state and the experience was traumatic for me! It was horribly tight and I stayed up all night taking it down because I couldn’t sleep. I’m not tender-headed so it was definitely too tight! I shared my experience with BB and she assured me that I would not have that kind of experience with her and she was correct! The experience was great and not once did I go through the pain and discomfort I felt from the previous shop. I’m a daily swimmer and I needed something that could stand up in the water. Thank you for the recommendation! It was a perfect choice! I love my new style and will definitely visit again for services. The style is versatile and matches my natural hair perfectly! You provided great service and I immensely enjoyed the great conversation! Thank you, BB!

I went to her, she was sniffing over my head, when I asked her whether she had a cold, covid or allergies, she got mad and started an argument with me. She also was an hour and a half late for my appointment and told me that she didn’t care about my time. She said, she is more important than her clients. She also talked LOUDLY on her phone, with personal calls, in her language the whole time she was braiding which was aggravating. She is very unprofessional and rude. I think the positive reviews she has, are written by friends and family members. I also believe no one else would work with her in that shop, because she is drama. If you go to BB’s shop, be prepared. She is a good braider, even though I really didn’t get what I asked for, but I was happy with the outcome. Be aware and prepared, she’s a trip.

This was my 1st time at her shop; however, I did read the reviews before I went and had reservations at 1st but always like to use my own judgment. I don’t believe not one of the negative reviews that I read, especially with her and her sister eating this woman, stands on her feet, all day braiding hair. After some time, she needs to take a break if you can’t understand that move on. My experience with her was very professional, reasonably priced, and very friendly. I highly recommend her any day of the week over all the other hair braiding places I have been to here in central Florida. She has definitely won over a new client. Thank you, BB, for my new look!

She does good work overall but you have to supply your own hair and when you pay professional African braiding shop prices, the shops almost always provides the hair. She wants to do what she wants to do instead of fulfilling the customers wishes and had a nerve to tell me that she couldn’t produce one style that I gave her a photo of because I didn’t have a good enough grade of hair and that my hair was closer to her texture…. I was about done after that comment and have never returned. First of all this is not true and it shouldn’t matter what grade or texture a persons hair is, a professional should be able to execute and produce the style the customer is asking for.

Happy holidays everybody!! If you are looking for a place in daytona Beach where to get your hair well done by a braider, I recommend miss BB. She is professional, she knows what she is doing and her pricing is reasonable. She did my Senegalese twist right in time for the holidays and I got so many compliments wherever I went. First of all, BB’s Salon is very clean and tidy. Her professionalism is 100%. I Love my hair , I made all back with my natural hair . It’s so fine. We are both Africans so it was easy for us to gist away. She is nice and she knows are job so well. Come to Bb’s and you won’t regret you did. I told her I just moved to Florida and didn’t have any friends and dont know any african store . She linked me up with someone that has an African store . Thank you so much BB . God bless you . This whole experience was a waste of time. When my daughter and I went there to make an appointment, they wanted a $10 deposit to hold the appointment. A few days later, the morning of the appointment, someone from the shop called and asked if we could come in later that afternoon instead of that morning. We said fine, no problem. When we arrived…ON TIME!!! BB, the assistant, and the customer (with hair half braided) were all sitting down eating chinese food. No one stopped eating!!! and had the audacity to ask us to reschedule!!! I politely, asked for the deposit back and attempted to educate BB on professionalism, then left.

Very unprofessional. An hour late to my hair appointment and when she arrived instead of getting started right away she started cleaning, even when I asked her what kind of hair I should get for the style that I wanted and even told her what kind of hair I had….. she told me I had to get a whole other style and I couldn’t get a refund on the hair I already brought ($70)….. so I had to spend an additional $15 for the hair she needed for a style I didn’t want in the first place….. only for me to come back and she was gone….. So I finally got frustrated and leave and she calls me to yell at me over the phone for 15 mins and if I choose to come back she still expected me to pay the full $180 to get my hair done. Stay very far away from this place there are other African braiding shops in the area that are more timely and professional.
