I have been hesitant to find a stylist in Miami but finally got to the point I couldn’t keep fitting appointments in when I visited home. I was looking for someone who knew blondes and Ashley definitely fits the bill! My hair is up a lot for work and needed some TLC and she was really helpful recommending changes and products to look for. She was mindful of my budget and discussed what I wanted for my color and I love the final product. She also cleaned up my ends beautifully and I got so many compliments for the rest of the day. My hair feels the healthiest it has in many years and I’m so happy I went to Base!

Ashley is amazing, authentic, honest, and incredibly talented!!! I moved to Miami 2 years ago and have tried several other stylists in the area but didn’t super love any of them until I found Ashley. She is incredibly knowledgeable about hair and is an epic artist when it comes to cutting, hydrating, styling, and reviving–She brought my curls back to life and taught me a TON about how to take care of my hair so that it truly thrives! I’ve been getting my hair done with Ashley for almost 2 years and she is amazing. As I do whenever I’m looking for a new option, I turned to yelp when I was in need of a new stylist. And that’s when I found Ashley. She was at a different location at the time but had nothing but raving reviews so I felt safe and confident to put my trust in her. My first visit was for a color correction after I had been box dying my own hair for years. She did an amazing job right out of the gate. I was so happy I kept her as my permanent stylist for all my hair needs. Over the course of the almost 2 years I’ve been with her, she helped my hair grow for my wedding, and has since cut my hair into a great pixie. Which if you’ve ever had a pixie you understand the struggle to find a stylist that understands the cut and keeps up with the current trends.

Ashley is the best!! I absolutely love her new salon. She is super friendly, easy to talk to, and ALWAYS knows exactly what I want/need for my hair (even when I tell her I want 100 different colors, cuts, etc.!) Whenever I get my hair done, I feel like I am hanging out with a great friend! Like I said, she is THE BEST!! She will always listen to what you want and/or and she is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and truly is a master of her craft. HIGHLY recommended!!!

I love love love this place. After 16 years with my previous hair stylist I needed a change. Ashley is awesome! I had black hair color done prior and she did a color correction for me and is slowly lightening my hair to brown. She uses very good products! She has managed to lighten my hair without damaging it! Julie is also very good! I did a lash Lift with her that lasted me over 6 weeks!! Can’t wait to do a facial amongst other services they off!! They are the best! I wish them lots of luck and success.

Easily my favorite salon in Miami! Base is my go to spot. I use both their hair and skin services and I always leave the salon feeling like a million bucks! The vibe of this place is not like any other salon I’ve ever been to. From the second you walk into there you feel right at home. Ashley and Julie are amazing and always take the time to educate their clients, which only makes me feel like they truly care. Ashley always exceeds my expectations with her cuts, color, and style to my hair. Julie has done my lash lifts and I see her frequently for sugaring services. She always makes the process of sugaring enjoyable/comforting and it’s always a pleasure talking to her. She always gives me such helpful skin tips. All in all I highly recommend Base!

This was my first time at the salon. I went in to get a haircut and a Botox treatment. Ashley, the owner, was very nice and did an overall great job. However, I do have to say, that the Botox treatment did not come out as expected. I have done this before at another place and results were much better. It hasn’t been a month and my hair is already experiencing frizz. She was nice enough to see me again to see what we could do, however, she suggested buying a shampoo and conditioner as she mentioned it was that. The thing is, when researching, you’ll find that what affects the Botox treatment is using a sulfate shampoo, which I don’t use. All my products are sulfate free. I guess I was left disappointed as I drove 30+ minutes only to be told it’s my shampoo (which isn’t the case, as per my research and my experience with the last Botox treatment I had done). This experience just falls short of excellent customer service. Perhaps some room to improve in this area.

Ashley has been my Barber for the last 3 years and I wouldnt think of looking anywhere else. Fantastic friendly customer service, easy to get an appointment and most importantly a consistent quality fade and beard trim. The location is awesome, right in the heart of South Miami. Believe the hype, the countless happy customers and rave reviews on Yelp are thoroughly deserved!
