Good prices and good quality haircut. Most of the time Member in uniform get priority between the hours of 1100 – 1300. But on those hours most of the time there is a line. Other than that great service. Shout out to the blonde barber, she has a mean fade.

Upon arriving at my first base (tyndall afb), following training, I tried to find a barber in town before going to the base barbershop. I walked in (after having my hair botched by an off-base barber) grabbed a number and sat down. I could tell that the woman who was supposed to cut my short hair, who knew I was next, didn’t want to cut my hair. She couldn’t even look me in the eye. Knowing I was next, she looked at a man and told him she was ready for him (this is not how it works). He motioned for me to go so I got up and walked to her station. I promptly told her my hair had been botched and how I wanted it to be done. She sits there and looks me straight in my eyes with a little pat on my shoulder and says “I don’t do ethnic hair.” All this after noticeably trying to figure a way out of the situation. I got up and waited for the next available barber who did her best. If you do happen to have “ethnic” hair I recommend staying away from the old white-haired lady who typically works in the back corner of the shop. It’s pathetic that a barber isn’t versatile enough to be able to do more than one type of hair. I have a feeling the issue is more along the lines of her being prejudice, however.

Top notch! I think they’re all very good in here. My two favorites are Susan and Natasha. Personal preference. Both sweet and do an awesome job!! It is not the reason I go here. Just an bonus compliment only. She is the most beautiful woman that I have ever seen in person ever! Not kidding. I highly recommend the exchange barber shop. Definitely can’t go wrong!!

My husband has been going here for three years now and he will never go back. Two weeks ago he waited an hour and a half for a five minute haircut. Today he went in and got a number and walked around the BX for awhile. He came back when the number before his was called. When the next barber was available, she skipped his number and went to the next one. He looked at her and asked “Really?” She just stared at him and continued with the other persons haircut. This place will never get our money again. Didn’t catch the ladies name but she was working Sunday at 2pm and has reddish brown hair and resting extreme b**** face. Never again!
