I’d been to Bird before and had a fantastic experience, and today I took my 10 year old son and 3 year old daughter in! Our sons was a straightforward fade and trim, and Bird made sure to work around a cowlick and gave us some great tips on styling and it looked really clean! It was my daughters first haircut, and she has ringlet curly hair, and I had heard he does a great curly cut. She was very nervous. Bird did an outstanding job of getting on her level, giving her a toy to fidget with, wouldn’t start until she was completely comfortable and explained what he was doing so she was never surprised. It took her a minute, but she warmed up and he did a wonderful job on her curls and gave her the cutest bangs!

I really like Barnhart’s Barbershop! It’s easy to book appointments online, and all of the barbers I’ve been to — Cassie, London & Gary — have given great haircuts. The location on the square is convenient, but sometimes parking is hard to find. Just make sure to allow yourself some time to find parking and walk if necessary.

Moved back to the Denton area and needed a cut quick. Called around to some shops, and ended up at Barnhart’s. They took me right away as a walk in. Felt such relief at the LQBTQIA+ friendly atmosphere. Great conversation, fantastic cut. My new go-to spot.

Location is amazing, interior is super funky and awesome. I was able to literally walk in and sit straight down in the chair–no need to check in for my appointment or anything. My stylist, Bird, was clearly an expert and spent more time with me talking over the pictures I brought in than anyone else has before. I LOVE my cut, love the conversation I had with Bird, and will be back again and again.
