I don’t think this location takes walk-in anymore. This is my normal, go-to nail salon. I have tried to go here 2 times in the past month (on a Saturday afternoon and a Monday afternoon about 2 weeks apart) and there has been only 1 employee. Not sure what is going on because nothing has been shared on their website about requiring an appointment to be seen. Modish Nails near Target takes walk-ins and offers teacher discounts if you need another salon to be seen on short notice.

It’s best you make an appointment as there is only 1 person that works there. The owner is very personable, knowledgeable, and pretty quick. I had a mani and pedi and my son got a pedi. He did both in about an hour in a half and I didn’t feel rushed. You can make appointments online too which is a huge plus for me.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI went here with high hopes, and spent $65 on ugly nails. First off they’re LUMPY, ALL OF THEM!! The last pic was what I showed the guy who did my nails. I brought my own glitter and stickers for them to use. Which is my mistake and I should’ve done it myself. The top coat ended up splotchy, the guy refused to use the stickers I wanted, AND he didn’t listen to me or my friend about how to do the glitter. My thumbs also ended up hurting a lot as if I jammed them in a door! I went here with high hopes, and spent $65 on ugly nails. First off they’re LUMPY, ALL OF THEM!! The last pic was what I showed the guy who did my nails. I brought my own glitter and stickers for them to use. Which is my mistake and I should’ve done it myself. Revised my review, my girls name is Julie and she is amazing… Please do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with her online seriously obsessed, her attention to detail is top! She is also super careful to not cause any cuts or anything! Seriously so so good at what she does!

Tried this Nail Salon for the first time about a month or so ago….I’ve been trying to find a place that could do a really good pedicure and manicure and especially a good and precise waxing. Yes, I’m very particular. Believe me when I tell you that I finally found that place. I received the best pedicure I’ve had in a long time. The manicure I got last min and it turned out good as well. Just got very basic manicure. Got eyebrows waxed and the lady did me justice. She’s Great. Will be seeing her in the very near future for sure. ❤

Satutday: I wasn’t trippin about the leftover polish and undone sides bc Im used to that happening. I asked for a design off a picture (simple flame) AND told her I usually get color changing gel but didn’t want to spend extra on gel polish. she told me it he design could be done by her friend. Her friend was busy or something so she attempted it herself. It didn’t work out so I said paint it all black. At the register I’m charged extra for gel and she was pretty rude about it. Said I should’ve told her I didn’t want gel even tho I honestly did and every other place asks abt regular versus gel. She kept waving her hand up motioning to stop talking and was legit upset. Meanwhile if I knew I was getting gel I would’ve picked something way different. She took $5 off but ask abt pricing before you start. I told her o wanted ONE diamond on 4 fingers and she gave me 12 and then charged me like $10 for the gems. I thought she was being nice BC the design she told me I’d get when I sat down I didn’t. Let alone how the area near my cuticle and side of nails isn’t fully painted.

Got my first pedicure and manicure today. Was not disappointed. Was greeted promptly and with smiling faces (behind the masks). Was offered a beer to drink (chose yuengling) and sat in my pedicure chair. I don’t know the specifics of what happened, but the massage, the wax, the lotions and foot scrub felt great! Arati (i know i misspelled this) did a great job. The hot water bath for my feet was a nice introduction to the process. My wife comes all the time so I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. She’s picky and they are always accommodating. It’s not something I’ll have a standing reservation for, but if I’m in the area and have time, I’ll return. Feet are feeling fine! Thank you!

I had a bad experience here. I’m not sure if the lady was prejudice or just mean. Came in to have my toes polished and sns removed. So after she soaked my nails had to go to back for my toes, I had my pc, phone and wallet. Think she helped and tried to grab anything? Nope. So I struggled and figured it out. I sit down. She doesn’t even give me a second to sit and get comfortable, I asked how to adjust the chair. She showed me the button. I started to adjust and while I am adjusting she starts painting my toes. Whole experience was horrible. Take off of sns was rough, she hurt my hand twice. Didn’t apologize. I will never return. Smh. Definitely noticed a difference in the treatment I received versus others who were white. Sad.
