Angie and her team have this place decorated so that when you walk through the door, you know and feel immediately that this is not going to be just another haircut, but rather an amazing experience. EVERY detail of the beard trim, razor shave, and haircut was meticulous and Angie has such attention to detail. Just moved from Houston and was very excited to find my new barber here in Lake Charles. Went here at 4:45pm, but was turned away by the employees saying they close at 5pm instead of their listed 6pm stated on both their door and website. Either way they didn’t seem very welcoming and was a poor initial impression. Definitely not going to be my new barber(s) that’s for sure.

Don’t come here if you were born or assigned female at birth. They refuse to cut women’s short hair. I could understand if they don’t do long to short chops, but coming in with short hair already is different. I had two appointments lined up that I had to cancel. What a waste of time. Heaven forbid the men are uncomfortable with women around. To the business: please post this on your website so you don’t waste others time. Thanks

Refused to take me as a client because I am a woman and stated the owner stands behind this business philosophy because “men complained about feeling uncomfortable around women”. This is shameful and encourages a toxic environment centered around fragile, privileged, blatant sexism. Women clients make men uncomfortable but just fine with the barber being a female? I would be ashamed to work for/support this business. I’m glad not to contribute money here and I certainly won’t send any of my military colleges to this business.

My barber was April she was amazing. She was very friendly and treated me fantastic, I got a hair cut and beard trim they both look awesome the refreshments were an awesome bonus. I highly recommend going here you absolutely won’t regret it, the waiting area is also very comfortable. I made sure to tip her and will definitely be back. Great service. Friendly, courteous staff will treat you like royalty. Recommend making an appointment to be sure you experience a fantastic haircut and beard trim. You can even get your shoes shine! Comfortable waiting area. Refreshments are an added plus. It’s a must stop whenever in in Lake Charles.
