I’m not sure why I thought waiting almost an hour and a half to end up with this as the result was ever a good idea. Probably because of the lack of places in town charges $40 plus for a child’s haircut. I could understand if a child would end up with a haircut like this had they not been cooperative, kept moving etc however, my son is not new to getting cuts and sits completely still and listens to what is asked of him. They’re are pieces that were completely missed, around the ears are not cleaned up and the complete “hack job” of a haircut on the top is completely unexceptionable. No matter how busy this place is, the quality of what we pay for should not be less than acceptable.

Very slow barbers. #10 on post, after 60 min wait with 3 barbers cutting still #5. Finally left as I didn’t have another hour to wait and one barber just left for break. That is the consistent experience here. Very long wait during very slow service for a mediocre job. Not many other places to go though. Don’t know why I go back….no more.

Probably the worst AAFES barber shop I have encountered (and honestly most AAFES barber shops are pretty bad). My job usually keeps me busy well after COB and I often work through lunch which is common for many on military bases. Their hours say 1000-1800, but it’s really more based on whatever they feel like working. I actually found time to leave work before 1700 on a Friday and got to the shop at about 1620. Roughly 8-10 people in line and about four barbers. They had already pulled all numbers and said they aren’t taking any more customers (100 minutes before they close). This isn’t the first time I encountered this. Weekends are no better. They are not even open on Saturday and generally only have 1-2 barbers on Sunday. If you’re not in line an hour before they open, good luck getting in before they decided they’re done working. Quality of cut is mediocre, so definitely not worth it. That said, there are plenty of decent and professional options off post. Don’t waist your money on this place.

UPDATE: for some reason I keep trying to give this place a chance. 14:20 on a Tuesday, walk up with 20 people ahead of the current number. What is going on at this place. Downgrading to 1 star until they get their act together.
