Amid the Covid-19 pandemic I was apprehensive to get a cut. However, I was pleasantly surprised how safe I felt. Jen the barber gave me one of my best haircuts. She is so nice and understanding. The barbershop was so clean, plastic hanging between each chair, professional temp checks, masks, and appointments were required. If you want to feel safe during this pandemic, get a good cut, this place is for you. Only critique is $26.00 for a buzz type haircut is too much. If I had a full set of hair, yes but I do not. $20 is fair for a guy with not much hair. LoL The appointment scheduling was fast and easy. Restrictions on how many are allowed in at one time also was a plus. Again, the place is spotless. So clean. Great job! Thank you!

Critical: ProfessionalismWent to the location in Hamilton for a simple cut. Because they’re unorganized, I waited for a long time watching people walk in after me and get serviced first. I guess if you’re friendly with the owner the rules don’t apply to you. I was finally called fory turn. Woman was friendly but had a filthy work station. Hair all over the seat. I had to ask her to clean it off. Nice! Then after explaining the style cut I wanted she proceeded to turn me to face the wall. Really? Why have mirrors if you don’t use them? I can’t figure out why I have to stare at a wall while I get me hair cut. Well she finally finished and turned my chair to the mirror. Surprise!! She cut it completely wrong! Ignored my natural part and kinda did her own thing. Horrible stylists! Horrible procedure. Had I been facing the mirror I could have stopped her from screwing it up. Avoid this place unless you like being surprised because you will not get the cut you want. The price is cheap because it’s below average. I have been going to the Barber Shop for years now (19 years) and they have yet to disappoint me. The quality of their work is second to none and would highly recommend the Barber Shop. Marc has been my barber for almost every haircut except for maybe 3 times. With every hairstyle I’ve had he’s been spot on with his skill and expertise and would absolutely recommend every patron to have at least one haircut with him. The staff is always friendly and welcomes you into the shop with a smile and there seems to always be someone waiting for you to walk in. 5/5 would recommend.

I really just needed an outline and not a full cut. Truth be told, I’m having a hard time keeping my hair at my age. That said, I really just needed a cleanup on this visit and Sam (I’m pretty sure that was her name) did a great job. She spent the time to clean things up and make me look fresh. I really like the neck shave as it’s a nice finish. Will definitely be back.

I had my first visit to the Barber Shop and it was wonderful. Such a charming place. I am going through chemotherapy and started losing my hair. I was very nervous about being seen by people. The staff treated me with the utmost curtesy, respect. And empathy.
