I called the shop without an appointment and was welcomed to come in for my 6yr old son! As Gerry was cutting my son’s hair he was on the phone the entire time which was unprofessional! In my opinion the barber should give the client the personal attention without distraction especially having a personal conversation the entire haircut! Positive: ProfessionalismDefinitely coming back here. He was on his way out the door thanksgiving eve but turned his lights back on so he could cut my sons hair! I was so upset because the place where I normally go told me it’s the holiday he could do anymore customers he had to go home to his family. Gerry referred to us as clients and apologized for my normal barbers attitude on a holiday. I’m a single mom and a nurse and it’s hard to keep up with my schedule but I will admit this guy made my night, my son was happy with his new cut and so was I. I was so upset because the place where I normally go told me it’s the holiday he could do anymore customers he had to go home to his family. This was my first visit. As I arrived, the owner Gerry greeted me outside as he was returning from delivering cupcakes to his daughter’s school for her birthday. He immediately sat me in the chair and asked me how I liked my hair cut. He was very personable and friendly. I got to meet his wife and a couple of his children who stopped in during my visit. Gerry is a true family man of faith with great barber skills. I will be back and recommend this barber shop for the entire family. A nice barber shop in historic downtown Powder Springs.

I have a 16 year old son who never likes getting his hair cut and doesn’t like how it looks when it is cut. My hair dresser said try going to a barber, and my son walked out saying it is the best hair cut I have ever had! My husband saw the hair cut and they have sworn off Great Clips, and plan on being forever customers of Gerry. Great job!
