They know their stuff and the kids actually sat and took it, no tears. The stylist listened to what my oldest wanted and did it so perfect, he got a few “I like your cut g”s at school after and I see him checking out his new do in the mirror now, it’s pretty cute. My youngest got a very cute big boy cut, took the buzzers with no tears, only a lot of shoulder shrugs and ear tucks which the stylist both worked around beautifully or patiently waited while coaxing him out of his turtle shell ♥ ♂️ ♂️ we’ll be back but ill send them with dad next, perfect big guy/little guy outing

Found Barber Jon’s, back in 2013 and started bringing my son here when he was 2. Justin was super patient with my very sensory driven child. Justin was patient and stayed with it and gave my son an amazing haircut. Kept coming here for years after. In 2018 I moved to AZ, and 3 years later I’m back home for a wedding and called The Barbershop when I got back to Folsom in desperate need of a haircut. They got me in super fast and again had one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had from the team here.

This has been by far the best place I’ve taken my son to get his hair cut. They are very thorough, and don’t just do a 5 minute men’s hair cut like those chain hair cutting places. No. If you are going in to see John or any of the other skilled barbers on staff there, don’t be in a rush because your going to be in the chair 20 mins or more depending on what you want done. But it is Sooo Worth It! You won’t be disappointed when you leave. And you’ll get a good conversation and a great haircut that people will compliment you on. What’s better than that?

Critical: Quality, ValueWaited awhile for a walk in, which was expected, but when I got in the chair with the bald barber (forgot his name) he ruined my hair. I should have not paid honestly or went back for a refund (lesson learned for me). Wanted a subtle scissor trim after growing my hair for six months. He told me he would take a guard to the ends of my hair (which made no sense), but then proceeded to pin my hair on top and then took an 8 guard to my sides and back and cut extremely high. He didn’t offer to touch the top and I didn’t ask because I didn’t trust him to cut it anymore then he already had. He then asked me if I wanted a fade with a zero in the back even though I originally told him multiple times to keep the length. I can’t even style it right now. After getting home I realized the sides are uneven even though he used a guard. I got robbed. If you can’t style it how your client wants just tell them that. Waste of my time and money.
