I really don’t get all the 5 star reviews. I went and had an awful experience. She neglected to tell me on the phone that she goes away end of October- April and expected me to wait to finish my treatments with her. As a business owner, you should be transparent. I wouldn’t have wasted my time coming to her if I knew she was going away for months. She also missed so many hairs on my face. When I left I was astonished to see how much hair was still on my face. During the treatment I had to point out the hair between my eyebrows because she didn’t notice and when I did she was like “oh I didn’t see that”. Lo and behold when I left and got in my car I saw that she still missed the hairs between my eyebrows despite me mentioning it. I found another place that got all my hair in 30 minutes for $55, she charges $60 for 15 minutes! She also only takes cash. I felt robbed after spending $60 on such bad service. I asked if she could do another area on my face and she basically told me no, why would you do that, you don’t need that. As a paying client, I think you should do what the client wants. The other place I found in Edison was less painful, faster/more efficient, and said they would do what I wanted. Barbara barely did a consultation and just wanted to get right into the treatment so she could get her money. She’s unprofessional, not thorough, and way overpriced for bad service. Find someplace else.

I have been to Barbara Resnick several times. She has always done, and still does, a fabulous job in removing unwanted hairs from my chin and cheeks. I would recommend Barbara to anyone who has unwanted facial hairs. She is very pleasant to deal with and has convenient hours.

Barbara is an awesome electrolysis! With just one visit there was a remarkable difference. I had been going to another electrolysis for over a year, and didn’t see the difference I saw in just one visit with Barbara. I highly recommend Barbara,she is a no nonsense electrolysis. If you want results this is the electrolysis for you!!

Barbara is simply amazing! I have PCOS and had some facial hair on my chin. I got laser done about 6 years ago. I don’t believe that ever worked and they had me go for about 12 treatments. After that I was hesitant about trying electrolysis because I figured it wouldn’t work just like the laser. I was so very wrong ! Barbara was very clear up front. She said if it doesn’t work within 4-6 treatments it will not work for you. I wish the dermatologist I went to for laser would have told me that instead of taking $200 a pop. I have only gone to Barbara for 5 treatments so far and I can happily say it’s pretty much all gone!! Highly recommend!

My mom and I have been going to Barbara for about 2 years now and we couldn’t be more happy. Every time I have an appointment I know exactly what to expect because of her consistency. I have sensitive skin so waxing and other methods were never good options for me; and since getting electrolysis done, I’d never do anything else. I have had many session with Barbra since about February of 2015. I refer to her as a miracle worker! She has been patient and helpful with electrolysis in different areas. She will not continue to work on an area if she feels your skin cannot handle it for the day. She is very informative and makes you feel comfortable. I started with my face but knew I would need other areas worked on, I never thought I’d be comfortable enough to have them done. However, Barbra keeps you calm through the process. My friend and I have both been going and are more than happy with our results! Thank you Barbra for your flexible schedule and all of your help!

Have been going to Barbara for about a year now . Always a great experience. There’s been a great difference in the thickness of my hairs compared to my first session. No more waxing , shaving .
