Banya 5 is very much a Russian style Banya where the environment is upbeat and social. I love the concept of it and think it’s wonderful that Seattle has a place for folks to go unwind and socialize that’s not centered around alcohol.

I was given a service and 2 hour pool/sauna as a gift. And what a special gift. Banya 5 staff is professional and courtesy, helped explain the process and answered all our questions. I highly recommend seeking out Spenser. What an awesome message therapist. 24 hours after the visit I still feel like a million bucks.

I’ve been to Banya 5 twice – once in 2017 and once a couple weeks ago. It was a solid experience both times – I love the different temp baths and sauna – but the price you pay is really high for what you get. It was pretty crowded when we went (admittedly on a Sunday) which means you end up waiting to get into specific baths.

One of the best. A well designed and complete hydrotherapy circuit with a clean, pleasant environment. I do think it slants a little loud, because the spaces are close together and the hard floors/walls echo, so keep that in mind depending on why you’re visiting.

In theory this place is awesome. I knocked off two stars because it really did not feel that clean. The steam room smelled like sweat and the bottom of the hot tub was like kinda green. It took away from the relaxation unfortunately

Nice spa with fun options to use for relaxation and recovery. Sauna, steam, cool plunge, hot tub and tepid pool were great to rotate thru. The hot tub was a lil small and my locker was a pain to lock and unlock, otherwise, great time.

It’s fairly small but the dry sauna and steam room are top notch. The hot tub could be hotter and larger. The cold tub is lovely and frigid.

Best spent money in Seattle! You need only your own swimsuit, everything else is provided. Sauna is beautifly toasty, steam room smells fresh with eucalyptus, cold and regular shover in common space. Tea room with chai to relax /which I brought book to read/. Plenty of parking on the street, I did get spot in their parking lot. Staff people are calm and kind.

Overall just ok. The space was much smaller than I expected – the 5 different baths / rooms are in one large communal area, so it felt somewhat crowded with people shuffling around each other to get to their next spot. The locker rooms were super small as well with really no room to manuever if there are more than a few people in there.

The facilities here are good and the idea of having the heat, steam, cold, etc all in one is super convenient however the prices there can be a little high and they will pack the facility leaving you waiting for spots to open up because the hot tub/steam room are quite small. Still a very clean and modern facility however.
