This place is fantastic. From the deer heads on the wall to the old style barbershop, to the barber himself everything is like an old-fashioned barbershop should be. You walk in, the barber greets you and you take note of who’s before you. That’s it. You can add comments or requests but the barber usually remembers if you’ve been there a couple times.

I take my elderly father n law here regularly to get his hair cut. Nice guys, always friendly and quick. They’ve even offered to come out to our home if or when my father n law is unable to get out anymore. Although we haven’t had to take them up on their offer so far, we really appreciate the gesture!

I love going here. I am old fashioned and I love the atmosphere. Picture a barber shop straight out of the 1950’s or early 60’s which is when I believe it originally opened (think Floyd’s in the Andy Griffith Show) and you have the image exactly. The two barbers are super efficient masters of their craft and I have gone to both of them equally, but you can wait for one or the other if you have a preference. The average time per haircut is 10 – 15 minutes max, and that includes a straight razor trimmed line over the ears and plenty of conversation if you are so inclined. This means even if most or all of the 10 -15 waiting chairs are filled, I’ve never had to wait more than an hour to get my haircut. It is a wonderful slice of American history that is rapidly disappearing, and I will continue to go there as long as it is open just for that reason.

This is one of the best old time barber shops around. I have been going to the same barber for over 40 years. The barbers know you by name and parents bring their kids here for their first hair cuts. I love the atmosphere here. I’m on my 3rd generation of my family using this barbershop which is rare in this day and time.

Bubba is great. $15 for a haircut, can’t beat it. Never a long wait if you go around noon on a weekday.

I started to bring my son here before the covid hit and after everything reopened they had to mandate social distancing so only 6 people are allowed in at a time but they are fast so you won’t be waiting long which was awesome. it’s not sloppy work either, they give you exactly what you want. it’s cash only so hit up an atm and it will be worth it.
