I have been going here for Tommy for quite some time!! I have never ever left this place without feeling like I had hair like Barbie. At first, I just went for trims and haircut/styling, which I loved, and decided to do a partial balayage w/ Tommy. I loved it so much I got it done again! I live in downtown Austin now but I still commute out here to get my hair done.

Went in to get full highlights and had to go back because they were done wrong & not up to the root. I spent over 7 hrs total in 2 appts. & it still isn’t right. The stylist tried several times & it kept turning a different color. The owner wasn’t very helpful at all. She offered no advice to her stylist except cut the hair off. I know it was a joke, but some good advice would’ve eased my mind and I’m sure helped her stylist who seemed stressed. Staff as people are friendly, but hate to waste time and money like this place did.

I brought my daughter to see Tommy for a Japanese Straightening which she has wanted forever. Its like a step beyond a Brazilian blowout. It’s a permanent Straightening and it does take several hours for the process, but that’s because Tommy knows what he’s doing and he does it right. He doesn’t try to cut any corners, which we read can be problematic. It is pricey as well but you are talking 3-4 hours of his time plus all of the materials, so I believe his price was very fair. My daughter loves it, her hair is never frizzy and messy, it always looks like she just straightened it, very happy, thank you Tommy!

Not very happy at all me and my daughter got a perm yesterday, I’m posting my pictures on Facebook a lot of people told me that the Stylist should have known not perm bleach hair or He should have done a testran!! I’m very upset after what I’ve heard because I knew that it was destroyed destroyed when he was unraveling the curls.. But yet I paid for it, I guess A lesson learned.. I’ve gone to them once before and hes done a very good job but the thing is I don’t understand stand if you’ve done this before and you know what you’re doing why would you continue to do it.. And why would you make somebody pay for it! I have learned my lesson thank you!! Hopefully you don’t do this to anybody else’s hair again Tommy And maybe you will do a test strand. So not very happy about it.

This is one of the worst salon I have been to. I asked for an angled layered bob cut and the stylist literally kept on chopping my hair until it became literally become short bob.. And then while styling I told the stylist that I am tenderheaded after she pulled my hair three times and she continued to do it. And when I asked her to see if someone else can do it then other Asian guy just rushed to me and ensured that he pulled it further to make sure I feel terrible.. And when I complained that I asked for Angled bob and its short bob he told the stylist to not charge and let me go and started harassing me coming too close to my face and showing me that how his hairs were not being pulled while combing infront of one another customer without empathizing with me on a failed haircut and an extremely painful hair styling experience while he was working with all patience on the other customer.. And then both the guy and the lady started screaming at me telling me how rude I was after ruining my entire haircut.. he also threatened me to call 911 and literally tried to kick me off and push me through the doors by snatching the cover on my body.. horrible experience please don’t save a few bucks for some self respect and gratitude by going here.. one of the worst customer service… Posting picture of the uneven hair at the back..

I had my first appointment at Bang yesterday and was SO HAPPY!! I hadn’t had my hair done in a while and was really looking forward to the opportunity to treat myself. Tommy was so great and really impressed me by taking the time to make sure we were on the same page any color and length and everything we were doing ahead of time. He then executed that plan perfectly. I have not returned to a salon regularly in the 8 years I’ve lived in TX but I’m already looking forward to my next appointment with Tommy at Bang!
