I had a haircut with Shari and it turned out great. I’ve never had my hair done at a salon before so I was a little unsure how to go about it. I would say 90% of my haircuts are just awful. I have fine but dense wavy hair that doesn’t hide bad cuts. I was SO impressed with the haircut Janessa gave me. She cut my hair exactly how I asked and it works so well with my natural wave.

I’m really disappointed, I told her to even the ends out and she cut most of it off and my bangs which look really bad now and took a long time to grow out just for them to be cut. I didn’t tell her to do anything with them but she cut them super short along with my hair. It’s really uneven too and it’s super short. I won’t be coming back here and I’m very upset because it took a long time for me to grow my hair out and she barely listened too what I told her to do and completely messed it up. It seems to me that she completely ignored my request and just did what she wanted with it and it doesn’t look at all like I wanted it to. I can’t even style it differently because of all the unwanted layering and the way she shaped it. I simply wanted a trim but she completely butchered my hair. I’m very unsatisfied and I dislike how my hair looks now.

I’m extremely disappointed by the way my haircut turned out. It was my first time trying this salon so they gave me the first person with an availability, I don’t remember the stylist’s name but she was dishonest about what she was doing to my hair and seemed very confused by what I requested even though I brought pictures and explained what I wanted in detail.

I’ve gone here twice now to see Janessa and every single time she’s given me exactly what I’ve wanted! She is so sweet and friendly and overall has a great vibe! I like how she went above and beyond to make my hair look really nice. Some of the other stylists weren’t wearing masks, and just came across as rude when I walked in. Not a great vibe from some of the other stylists at all. I felt kinda iffy when I first walked in, but Janessa was awesome, lightened my mood, and wore a mask the whole time!!! Will be back again to see her, and she is the ONLY reason I’d give this place 5 stars.
