I debated whether or not to write this review. But after going to have my haircut corrected at a different salon today and having the stylist there confirm that my haircut was indeed certainly not a master stylist level haircut and not even a good haircut at all, I feel compelled to share. And not so much because of the haircut because I guess bad haircuts can happen. But more-so because I contacted Bambu to let them know that I was unhappy with my cut, and no one reached out to try to make it right. I feel this is very poor customer service and wasted money on my end. I felt uncomfortable saying anything about the haircut while sitting in the chair because I was just so confused about the cut that was given to me and also because another client earlier had expressed displeasure with their hair color and the stylists couldn’t stop talking about it in front of the rest of the clients that were still in the salon. I certainly will not be returning.

Carey is an amazing and kind stylist – she is really easy to talk to and always listens to what I want. I have pretty thick hair and she took the time to get the cut right. She truly cares about making her clients happy – I don’t get my hair colored, but I asked her about a manequin she had up near her station and she told me she was working on a color solution for one of her other clients. If I ever wanted color, I would definitely feel comfortable with her.

Carey and Josh did my hair and make up for my wedding and I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life. I was blown away by their skills and received a million compliments throughout the night on my hair and make up. They also made us feel welcome at the salon and are such fun people to hang out with. You can tell how much they love what they do because they have so much fun while doing it!

Highly skilled and pleasant staff make your next hair cut a wonderful experience. Chris in particular is amazing, I searched for years for someone who could cut my hair! As a guy with longer hair, he made it easily manageable and stylish. I always feel comfortable here. This place offers Eco-friendly options that I haven’t seen at other places. I sent a girlfriend and she absolutely loved it! Great gift card idea! I highly recommend this place. Always a pleasure to go and even better to leave looking amazing! I have been going to Josh for over 13 years and I adore him. I love the salon because Josh and Kris both really care about the plant friendly products and how they work for the clients and the environment. They truly are making a difference buy recycling, which recently put them in the Tampa Bay times. Love the guys and the great work they do. Check them out and you will love them too!

I would have given them a 5 the products are quality the cut is good and the color is good. However my stylist did what she wanted in not what I wanted I’m not crazy about the color although it’s done well. I asked her not to use thinning sheers on my hair and she did anyway. So I’m can tell by the reviews that it’s looks like Chris or Josh might be a better choice for me and maybe I’ll have better luck on my 2nd visit. The price was way up there 250$ with a 35$ gift certificate. I have always paid around 100$ give or take fifty but never 250+ there was not explanation or disclosure of pricing. I have so ce edited this review because I left a message with the stylist about my concern the I wouldn’t be back then the manager called reminding me of my appointment! OMGOODNESS I had to go through the entire day again. With her and for what? Nothing. I had to have Great Clips fix my 250$ hair cut.

My son recently got married near Saint Pete Beach, Florida. Josh was recommended to us by a close relative. We retained Josh to do some of our hairstyles and Carey the makeup. I must say we could not have been happier. They were professional yet we felt like they had been friends for a lifetime. They kept the humor going and conversation interesting. All of our hair and makeup turned out unbelievable. I would highly recommend both of them and cannot say enough fantastic things about them. While it is a little far-fetched, a couple of people have thought I was the bride and/or told me I looked like I was in my 20s. It just goes to show what a great hairstylist and makeup artist can accomplish.

Carey was amazing! Loved her customer service skills. She explained everything as she went along and also gave great pointers. The entire staff was so nice to my 2 year old and everyone seems to be happy and work well together. Nothing to complain about at all. It was an awesome experience. Thank you Carey and all.
