I’ve had 5 sessions of laser tattoo removal here all of which were done by a RN, not Dr. Gavrila as the website suggests will evaluate your tattoo and devise a treatment plan. Every appointment I have had to wait 20+, sometimes 40 minutes to only be in the chair for 10-15 minutes. I have two very large pieces that are getting removed so 15 minutes does not seem ideal at all to thoroughly treat my tattoos. I have felt rushed during every treatment. On top of all of that, not only is the trinity laser the most painful thing I think I will ever endure in my lifetime, one of my tattoos had underlying white ink in it which has now oxidized and turned a metallic green. I have been to another tattoo removal facility where the MD who is now performing the remainder of my tattoo removal informed me that because the wrong laser was used on this white ink (trinity) it’s going to be very hard if not impossible to reverse the oxidizing that was done. This MD also told me that by looking at the tattoos he would never guess that I had 5 treatments done but 1 MAYBE 2. I really wanted to like Baltimore Tattoo Removal because their staff is nothing but welcoming but I would highly suggest doing your research and making sure that the person performing your laser tattoo removal is very knowledgeable about the process and different types of ink and lasers to be used. After doing even more research I’ve found that the before and after pictures on BTR website are scattered on a bunch of other laser tattoo removal websites as well. I’ve wasted thousands of dollars and am just extremely disappointed.

I waited forever to be seen, and the environment is very uncomfortable. I have tattoos I want removed, not self-esteem issues. I was initially lied to about the removal process and only found out the truth after already waiting for over an hour past my appointment time. They paid zero attention to my underlying medical issues. They wanted payment up front for five sessions even though they said it would only take three or four. I ended up not getting a treatment. This place has a really creepy vibe. I never met with a doctor, and was never offered a doctor.

FINALLY — noticeable results and real bang for your buck! After having previously spent several hundred dollars on two minimally effective laser removal sessions from other practitioners in the state close to ten years ago, I thought my aging upper arm was destined to display the black shooting star tattoo forever. It was great to see a new business come along that dedicates itself to tattoo removals, so I decided to take a chance on them. The first session with Dr. Gavrila showed more significant fading of my tattoo than those other two sessions put together. I just went in for my second session and compared my tattoo today with the photo that he took at my first appointment — AMAZING DIFFERENCE. If you’re thinking of removing a no-longer-wanted tattoo but are skeptical like I was about making the investment, think again — I highly recommend Baltimore Tattoo Removal for satisfactory results — and they’re also a friendly bunch of people! Totally worth your time and money!

I called to get an appointment and was transferred to two different people and put on hold for minutes at a time. In the waiting area, which is smaller than my bedroom, you have to sit next to plastic-surgery addicts and watch commercials about Botox while listening to club music. It’s a very awkward environment. I had to wait 10 minutes just to be checked in.

I’ve only gone to one session so far, but my experience here has been nothing less than stellar. Caroline was very supportive and she really knows what she is doing. I am already seeing results on my tattoo removal and I’m optimistic about future sessions. Highly recommend BTR!
