I have had several perms over the years but the one Tammy gave me was by far the best one I’ve ever had. I recently moved to this area and was nervous about finding a new hair stylist because I have baby fine hard to curl hair. She did an amazing job and after almost a month it still holds the curl. If you need a perm, Tammy is the best.

I have had several hair appointments for color, cut, and Keratin treatments. Melissa is my hair stylist and she is meticulous and has done the best job of making my naturally frizzy hair look silky and beautiful. I appreciate how kind and professional the salon staff is to customers. The facility is clean and offers chilled bottled water and hot teas to customers. My husband and several good friends also go to Ballistic Hair and are happy, loyal customers. Men and women; you can’t go wrong at Ballistic Hair. Can anyone relate to how much trauma one goes through trying to find a new stylist on the other side of the country after having the same one for more than 35 years? After moving here from Seattle I tried several stylists and had almost given up on finding one who would really listen and do what I wanted—that is, until I found Ballistic Hair on Stone Drive in Kingsport. I called them based on some positive on-line reviews. Luckily, Melissa Williams, who has worked at the company for 22 years, had an opening the following day. She’s excellent! I showed her a picture of the kind of cut I wanted and described what I didn’t want. She listened carefully and the results from her careful razoring and scissor-work were exactly what I had hoped for. I tend to be a very loyal customer if I like their work, so I will definitely back. Thanks, Melissa!
