Balki, was the person who braided my hair, she did a fantastic job. She scheduled me within a day of calling her for a appointment. Everything about her service , was simply amazing. Her professional approach, her ideas, her humbleness, her explanation of what she would be doing. I really recommend her service. Her prices are reasonable and affordable for her skills and talent. I really was so pleased with how she braided my hair, and she also explained to me how to maintain it until my next appointment. I just had an awful experience with Balki Hair Braiding. I brought a photo in for jumbo knotless braids. Once she got to the front, it did not look anything like the photo. I decided to just have her do two french braids, and she started talking about how the last time I was in her boss said I was going to be a problem (just by looking at me apparently), I did not end up getting my hair done because I wanted a wash service that they could not provide. This worker was very disrespectful and unprofessional the rest of the time. She was pointing her finger in my face and yelling. Saying “I knew you’d be a problem” and other harsh things you don’t say to a customer. She also locked the doors before I had a chance to pay and threatened to not let me leave until I paid for my service. I did venmo just so I could leave the premises. The BBB will hear about this. Safe to say I will NEVER be back, and neither should any customer have to deal with that!
