BEWARE!! I was seeing their massage therapists in the Whole Foods locations, for muscle tension from working. One day after shopping at Broad St, I stopped to grab a 10 minute or so massage. I don’t remember his name, but he made sure to tell me they called him Jesus Fingers. It was alright. It was the end that would leave me broken still about 4 years later. He had me place my palms on my shoulder of the same arm. He then slammed my elbows together and it was the most intense pain I have ever felt. Tears welled up in my eyes, I even let out a pleafully soft no shaking my head when we went to do it again and I paid and left. The pain was so excruciating I had to change the way I would breathe as to not move my chest at any degree. It never got any better. I could barely move my right shoulder at all. It hurt even just having it at my side. I called the manager a few weeks later, explained what happened and he had me put intouch with his insurance. I went to get x-rays and see what could be done. They immediately closed my case and he quit answering my calls and treated me like the biggest con artist when they discovered I had seen the doctor before for a shoulder discomfort on THE OTHER SHOULDER which would be the point of why I was going to get chair massages to begin with!!! I still live in pain. I regret not knowing my rights and not being confrontational and fighting for myself back then. Poorly ran business. I regret ever giving them the opportunity to scar me for life.

We recently wanted to provide chair massage for our employees at a company event and Balance Massage did a fantastic job. I was referred to them by one of my colleagues who had many good things to say about them and has worked with them for years. I wasn’t sure how many therapists we would need but they made the booking process quick and simple. All of the therapists showed up on time and were very professional. Our employees raved about their massages. We’ll definitely be using them again.

I suffer from severe migraines and Balance Massage has been a life saver for me since it opened in this location. When I’m in severe pain, I can’t just schedule a massage for right now- so being able to go over there and usually only have a short wait, has provided me with so much relief. And I can honestly say that in all of these years, and I don’t even know how many massages, I’ve only had a couple of massages that I can remember only being so-so. These massage therapists listen and pay attention and are have gotten me through a lot of pain
