Terrible experience from the start. They asked if I would like water and I said yes, received after having to ask again and 70 minutes later. Color by Esmeralda was terrible!!!!!! I said I wanted my roots just a touch lighter and about the same color as I have for toner. I said a few times I did not want black roots and rest too dark, just take out the orange. She reassured me that my roots would be about the same or even lighter. My roots are black and the rest very dark. I asked what did you do and she said it will fade…who walks out waiting for their hair to fade to be the correct color???? It has not faded and I have black on much more than just the roots. My hair was shiny and health prior to coming to Bal-Lance. Now way too dark, no shine and lifeless. So sad I went in 🙁

I know their creative director and owner Brandon for a few years now, from a previous salon where was the “blonde King” SO naturally when I decided to go blonde from black, I called Brandon!Let start with the salon itself and how it make you feel like fancy Royalty! Glitter walls, draping robes, massage chairs (don’t even get me started on the head massages they give you when your getting rinsed out) #Naptime! They serve amazing beverages and assign your own locker for your things to be securely kept while your getting pampered!!I am the kind of person who trusts my stylist to the fully! I gave Brandon a general idea of what I was looking for and he got to work with no hesitation! He was honest with me about what he believed my hair could handle base on my chemistry and managed my expectations perfectly! He always made sure to talk to me about what he was doing and how it would affect my look I Was trying to achieve. Brandon knew that my main concerns was not ruining the integrity of my hair. I know going blonde was going to take a while so I don’t fry my hair! He got me SOOO blond and I don’t think my hair has ever been softer!
