I had the pleasure of having my hair both highlighted and cut by the genius Angela. I was a little scared to try a new stylist after a disastrous coloring experience at a different salon but Angela worked her magic, corrected my color and gave me beautiful new highlights. She also gave me a sleek gorgeous haircut. I have gotten so many compliments on my color and cut! The salon itself is such a zen space where everyone makes you feel at home. As a single mom, they were super kind and amenable to me bringing my child along as I didn’t have childcare that day. I feel blessed to have Angela work her magic on my hair and look forward to going back there. I highly recommend Baja.

Baja Studio is a gem. I’ve been going to Angela for 8+ years and will never let anyone touch my hair. Inside is super cute, intimate and the service is excellent. All the staff make you feel special and take care of, I always leave in a good mood. Booking is easy. I drive 1.5 hours from CT to come here every 6-8 weeks and park at the garage across from Soho Grand Hotel which is less than a 2 min walk to the salon. Highly highly recommend. Also, if you need a snack/drink before your appointment, Matchafull is a block away and has great drinks!

I have very curly hair and blowouts are often ruined by humidity for me. When I tell you the blowouts are emaculate! I am not sure what sorcery the stylists posses but my hair withstands humidity, is sleek and shiny and lasts for days. Worth every penny. Not to mention the staff is so warm and welcoming. They spoil you with beverages and the best scalp massages. A beauty oasis. Go visit. I always see Angela and Jay they are my faves.

I’ve been going to Baja since they opened. It’s an amazing salon, very cozy and intimate. The service is absolutely great here. Angela has been doing my hair for years, and I’d follow her to middle earth if she opened shop there. Lol. In addition to her, the other colorists and stylists are really awesome. You’re getting a very curated experience here with top notch artists who understand hair.

Jay at Baja changed my life lol. I have long fine hair and always wanted layers – but whenever I would ask for that my hair was left too thin with no shape. Jay worked magic! He is an artist and gave me the most beautiful shaped haircut ever! Seriously – I will never go anywhere else. Also the studio is super cut and the lighting is perfect for selfies. Run don’t walk!

I had an amazing experience at baja studio!! Everyone working was kind and accommodating! Jay literally saved me after I had a halloween hair disaster! I’ve told myself that i’ll never get bangs again, but after I accidentally cut a piece of my hair, it was the only option I had. Not only did Jay fix my hair, but he made me think that it was meant to be! The studio is also really cute and well-maintained 🙂 I will be going back!
