Backbone Barber Co. is one of the best barber shops I have been to. I walked in and didn’t have an appointment and they took care of me within 10 minutes. I had a complementary ice cold beer while waiting. I got my mustache trimmed up and it looked fabulous.

Nice shop and my two sons absolutely loved it so we would drive the 45 minutes from where we live to go there, we had taken them a few times each and we were impressed with the hair cuts every time. This last time though we had scheduled their appointments a month in advance so they would get their hair cuts right before school started. The day before and the day of we received the text messages and emails reminding us of their appointment times from their online scheduling software, but when we arrived we were told our barber (Jay) was out of town. I asked how could he have appointments scheduled if he was out of town and I was told “I don’t know but his calendar has been blocked off the last few weeks” Obviously we made these appointments before he blocked his schedule which I’m guessing is the problem. I was very aggravated of the situation that we drove all that way and none of the other 4 barbers seemed to care or was willing to make it right by giving the boys haircuts which the more I think about it is concerning. I reached out emailed and also private messaged Jay but received no response. After I got home I looked up reviews of this shop and this seems to be an ongoing thing. Its sad because it is a nice shop but they also don’t really seem to care about their customers time. I waited over two weeks to give a review to give enough time to see if i would even get a response of what happened but never did. Its sad but we wont be going back.

Best beard trim I’ve ever had! Beautiful & clean shop. I liked that it resembles a traditional tattoo shop. Jay was very kind, incredibly precise, and shaped my beard up so well that I’m leaving a 5 star review because of how happy I am with it! I will definitely be back.
